@Armu4eva,
I agree with you that this show has taken many liberties, like Abhishek's case, he murdered a guy before too but neither Alka or even Chander did anythin about it, they so easily brushed it off under the carpet.Same with Chander death,it is a topic which creatives couldnt handle.
The factory tragedy should have been addressed properly, both Alka and JAy were equally responsible for it, it was a case of negligence.According to synopsis this was to be the real reason behind Alka truely undersanding her responsiblities as a politican.
I was so disappointed when they reduced Ralph as a caricature, that angle had more potential, an indian politican's daughter and an angrez, but they made him a stepping stone for chander and alka's sudden love.Would have preferred them being good friends, him helping her identify her role as a politican. But i disagree he was the reason y she found her manzil, he might be her true luv, but when he was around I never saw her make her own decisions, she laxed from her duties as a MLA, she was all about Chander and the marriage track.
His death jolted her, she started her manzil as a lover fulfilling her other half's destiny but now it has become her own path where Jai is an anchor.
See, Chander may be the reason y she connected back to india, he might be her true luv but Alka carved her own path and is actually doin a better job as a MLA without him, the reason y i dont mind JAi is he has never tried to show her the path , just offered companionship.The story was and should have only been about Alka.
Its okay to be alone or find luv again, its a personal decisions and mourning wont change anything. the reason the show flipped a bit is the delay in starting Alka's journey as a politican , her love lyf was overplayed and now we have budget problems. Abhishek and Aarti have been grossly misused as a character, none of their stories made any sense.
