Will Shyam dominate and rule?

The hug that wasn't. Even if we see ASR hug Khushi tomorrow, I don't put much stock into it anymore, since Shyam has begun to dominate each episode. Today he had more dialogues that ASR. I think the series has taken a darker turn. And will remain so for a while.

I think the love track will take a back seat to Shyam and Khushi's supposed wedding. A huge disappointment for those who wanted to see more of Khushi and Arnav. The hug was yet another ratings ploy by the CVs.

I can't believe that neither Akash or Anjali saw Shyam standing right there. What? She can't recognize her husband's back? It's like the time Shyam and Shashi walked right past each other and didn't see each other.

Will the CVs decide what Shashi is suffering from? Yesterday, it was a heart attack, today he is stroke victim. I don't think I have ever heard of a heart patient having a stroke. If you get a heart attack, you go for emergency surgery. It's not the kind of disease where they just give you pills and you take the pills and you're ok.

A stroke is completely different. May be they should have started out by saying he had a stroke and dropped the whole heart attack thing. Paralysis fits more with stroke. Not a heart attack. If he had a massive heart attack he should have been immediately rushed for emergency bypass surgery. If he had a stroke then too he should have been rushed to surgery.

Does it make sense for the Gupta elder women to marry off Khushi when the head of the house hold is fighting to live? Also both Garima and Buaji know that Shashi didn't like Shyam so now why would they think that he wants Khushi to marry Shyam? I'd like to see how far will the CVs stretch the marriage angle between Shyam and Khushi.

I think we will see Shyam really inflict more damage behind the scenes unbeknownst to all. He's come to dominate the past couple of episodes. Shyam wants to silence Shashi and the marriage track will continue. I don't think Shashi will die, because that would not help with the suspense/drama of the track. Every time Shyam goes into Shashi's room, we hold our breath and sit at the edge of our seats. So Shashi will live, though he will never be able to reveal the truth about Shyam.

And I think we will see very little of Khushi and Arnav romantically speaking right now anyway. I don't think it will any longer be the center of the show. If we see anything at all IMO.

Of course when it all comes out, Khushi will be seriously blamed by the whole Raizada house including ASR for the whole Shyam debacle. It doesn't look like the story is going where most of the viewers would like it to go. But may be the CVs think that the "death hanging over Shashi head at all times" track is better ratings than "Arnav and Khushi falling in love" track.

Shyam will definitely take center stage and all the tracks, ones in progress and ones about to start will revolve around him and what he will do and could do. As always Abhaas Mehta will be his evil best. He brings the conflict and drama to this show and I think for a while each episode will show how low this guy can go as a character after 2 tries at attempted murder. I don't expect Shyam to get caught any time soon. Nothing can stop Shyam now, things are going just the way he has always wanted them to go. At least that is the impression the CVs would like to leave us with at the end of each episode.

You may have a point there. I just thought the CVs would try to keep it real and accurate. If Shashi already had one heart attack, we never saw him rushed to the hospital, no tests were done that we as viewers ever saw. A bypass surgery is only required if the blood doesn't flow to the heart properly.

Even if as you say that sometimes only meds are enough, Shouldn't Shashi have had some tests done? Shouldn't he have kept the meds on him instead of a drawer where he might be able to reach it or better that Shyam would not know where the meds were. I guess if they wrote that then Shyam would not have been able to keep the meds away from Shashi and thus have his condition worsen. That would have ruined the track. I think keeping meds away from Shashi was well done. It furthered the track and gave more depth to both the track and to Shyam's character.

Yeah, I agree with you a stroke followed by paralysis fits the track much better than a heart attack because it is also possible for heart attack patients to speak in some cases if not all. This was just convenient for the CVs to make the jump from heart attack to stroke to paralysis. I don't expect any accuracy from the CVs in terms of medical conditions but thought I'd mention how convenient the jump was. Well, I'm just glad they didn't feed Shashi jalebis to revive him or cure his paralysis. Just kidding :-)

Are you in the medical profession?

Strokes may happen due to blood clots, same reason can cause heart attack too

If Arnav and Khushi get together, Shyam might set out to wreak havoc in their married life or whatever, and also try to destroy Arnav's business ( maybe here Khushi could step in and help through her intuitions who knows).

I agree with you. But even in today's episode Shyam dominated the track not to mention the episode itself. So I guess if they want to go negative that is what the CVs will do. Anyway thanks for your comments lara3110. :-) KF
