| Lataa Sabharawal –Seth This is one of the most important festivals for all North-Indian married women as it is for the well-being of the husband. We fast without water and even Sanjiv fast the whole day for me. Getting Sargi from your mother-in-law most important and it includes sweets mainly. We eat seven types of sweets includes dry fruits, saivaiyan before sunrise and then fast whole day without water. In the evening, we do a puja of Karwa Chauth. My mother-in-law has gifted me a nice magenta color sari which I will wear on. The scene from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham between Jaya Bachchan and Kajol is the best Karwa Chauth scene. | |||
