and so as to remove confusion in this update specially i'll post PAST in colour Purple and PRESENT in Maroon and the song in grey😃

Part 6:

Mayank now had his son by his side and he needed no one else now to ever complete his world. No one, he clarified strictly. 'NOT AT ALL'

Mayank and Nupur were sitting in canteen having last minute revisions before their exam. Mayank asked Nupur to pass on the can of coke to him. She looked at him strangely, she knew he didn't like coke at all. She picked up the open can and passed it to him. He held her hand which held the coke can and keeping his eyes fixed in hers, took a sip from it, pressing her hand which was still holding the coke while he enjoyed analyzing Nupur turning red yet again.

Ever since that incident in the classroom had taken place, where he had tucked her hair behind her ears, he never missed a chance to see her blush. It had been just a week to that incidence and he was enjoying every bit of the passing moment with her.

Nupur every single time without fail, blushed and fell all nervous but never once did she show a dis comfort or unwillingness. Mayank was sure she was falling for him too just as he had.

He loved how she reacted stealing glances at him as he stared right in her eyes specially whenever she smiled with eyes unknowingly.

He just loved her nervousness for him.

Nupur felt herself going feeble yet again. Her cheeks were turning warm with the blood rushing in them and she once again broke the eye contact with him. His crooked smile on her responses didn't do any good either. She snatched away her hand from under his hold and tucking her un-scattered hair behind her ear unconsciously, she pretended to revise again after he had received her usual glare.

She was angry at him.

Angry because he was making her weak with every glance and action of his,

Angry because she didn't understand why he enjoyed it so much when she seemed vulnerable to him clearly.

Angry because her heavily pounding heart gave away all that was in her heart,

Angry because she too loved him, but he didn't seem to propose to her and supposedly just loved this present game of his.

The bell rang as a warning , 20 minutes prior to the exam and she just had to change the present topic of her interest again, not to mention how badly these days her studies had got affected when she was supposed to study but gladly accepted getting lost in his dreams rather, n here he was playing some stupid game with her.

She was very, very angry at him. And he was going to face its consequences soon!

Pulling herself together, she looked up at him and left after murmuring a stiff 'All the best' before she left storming, finally releasing some of her anger.

Blinded by the light you shine,
The colors fade completely.

I feel your smile defeat me.
I'm colourblind,
I just can't deny this feeling.

Mayank and Nupur were keenly listening to all the blabbering of Varun.

After a long time, this scenario in the car was of perfect harmony. Mayank and Nupur maintained joyful talks to Varun while he missed the fact that he was the only mediator between them at present.

The best part was that Mayank and Nupur were happy mostly for Varun. Last time that he had come home, he had cried a lot because he despised and loathed the idea of boarding school and that is when it had all happened...

Mayank had given it a chance earlier, but Nupur wanted to give it another chance again. Varun had not even considered giving it a chance from day 1, right from the time he met those mean mates over there.

Nupur had taken a decision for them all and now she was finally feeling a little better at Varun's new developments. She wanted to tell Mayank that 'look at Varun and yourself decide', but she had other promises to keep too. All she wanted was 'said and done' and now was her time to keep her promise.

Nupur knew, she was going to make things shine and bright for Varun atleast.

Varun made Mayank stop the car abruptly. Varun demanded a lunch right then, he was more so behaving like Nupur in these aspects, Mayank always liked this aspect of his.

Glad enough Mayank got him to a nearby restaurant. Varun looked at the menu card and asked without looking up, "Hey! How about a Sweet Corn Soup'Mom, Dad'anyone willing to share it with me'I need to eat a Pizza too after that" as if his situation made him have no other choice left with.

Mayank and Nupur spoke together, "I will!"

Varun looked up at them and smiling said, "Oh okay. Then you two can share it and am gonna order a Man chow Soup instead then'"

Mayank and Nupur couldn't reply in a 'No'. Varun had seen their ever growing understanding and love for each other and they had as of now managed to hide their personal differences in front of him.

They just didn't want to break his peace in this issue of his parents. They stole a cold and hesitant glance at each other and kept quiet when Mayank suddenly announced, "Varun, you know what'.I am gonna share whatever my Son likes. Man chow Soup is what you ask for, then it is Man Chow Soup for me too". He smiled wide to Varun while from the corner of his eyes he checked Nupur's expression.

She seemed offended and hurt, he could have easily shared it with Nupur.

Mayank knew this is what he wanted for now. The reason being plain simple that she was still getting hurt by him and affected by him and whether to re-check just that or to take pride in continuing his harshness towards her, he wanted that hurt to convey his stance to her.
