Divya (Abhay and Pia ff) 1 st part

Okay friends, this is the first part of my fanfic Disha (dedicated to abhay and pia).

Main Characters :

Jai (Abhay)' a software engineer, he is a cheerful and optimistic kind of a guy and a go getter. He believes to live life to the fullest, presently he is looking for an interior decorator to renovate his house. Jai lives in Shimla. Anybody who comes into his contact becomes his friend, but Jai mixes with very few people because there is something hidden in his heart which stops him from making too many friends.

Disha (Pia) ' an interior decorator from Pune, she is just like Jai but due her break up with her boyfriend Karan (Kabir) who is a doctor and to take some days off from her busy schedule she comes to Shimla to meet her granny.

Karan (Kabir) ' is a reserved and ambitious guy for him his priority is his job because he believes duty always comes first especially for a doctor. Differences in opinion between him and disha led to their break up. He tried to make her understand but disha didn't listen and went to Shimla.

First part

Disha is standing near the window in her bedroom, the curtains are moving with the wind, her eyes are full of tears when she looks at the poems she wrote for Karan (her boyfriend) and recalls the moment when they were together.

Come to me in my dreams, and then
By day I shall be well again.
For then the night will more than pay
The hopeless longing of the day.

Come, as thou cam'st a thousand times,
A messenger from radiant climes,
And smile on thy new world, and be
As kind to others as to me.

Or, as thou never cam'st in sooth,
Come now, and let me dream it truth. And part my hair, and kiss my brow, And say My love! why sufferest thou? Come to me in my dreams, and then

As disha ends reading the poem written to her by karan, the tears run through her eyes and then her friend tripti comes from the back and keeps her hand sympathetically on Disha's shoulder and she turns around, tripti feels bad for disha and gives her a warm hug and then both sit on the bed and tripti says:

Disha, it is better that you stop thinking about Karan.

Disha

How can I forget thinking about him, I love him so much, but he does not have any time for our relationship, it is only his work which is his priority. I had so many plans for our future but he is not taking it seriously. (while wiping off her tears) it is better for me to move on.

Tripti

I think you took the right decision Disha, at this moment you should let him go, if he comes back then he is yours.

Disha

What if, he doesn't come back then ?

Tripti remains silent '..

Karan is in the hospital as he comes out of the operation room a nurse comes to him with his cell phone, when he checks he found Disha's 10 missed calls, he immediately calls her.

On the other hand Disha was about to pick up the phone but tripti asks her not to pick it up and then Disha says

No, tripti there are certain things which I want to clear out, I will talk to him, it is time that we should take a decision.

Disha

Hello

Karan

Hi, disha!! Sorry I was in the operation room, it happened that a patient was brought in the hospital and he needed an emergency treatment.

Disha gets annoyed with his explanations and as Karan was about to say more she cuts their conversation in short.

Disha

I want to meet you'.

Karan

Are you angry ?

Disha remains silent for a moment

Karan

Hello'. Disha, r u there'

Disha

Yes, I m very much here.

Karan

What happened to you, why r u behaving so strange ?

Disha

Thank god, you noticed this change!!! But its too late.

Karan

Disha, listen!!!

Disha

No karan, you listen, I want to talk to you, if u can take out some time from your busy schedule so meet me at Amazon restaurant.. right now, its also urgent..

Karan

Listen, disha I may not be able to come'

As he says this, disha disconnects the phone.

Karan reaches Amazon restaurant and was waiting there for half an hour, he was getting restless as why disha called him so urgently and secondly her mood was not good too and then as he looks up, he finds disha standing near the door step of the restaurant, he smiles and disha walks in as she comes closer karan gets up and pulls the chair for her then they settles for a conversation.

Karan

What happened disha, why you called me so urgently.

Disha looks deep into karan's eyes and after a small pause she asks him :

Disha

What do you think, why did I called you here ?

Karan (appeared clueless)

I don't know'what it is it ?

Disha (with a heavy sigh)

Karan, I have decided to end our relationship.

He gets shocked.

Karan

What!! What r u saying Disha

Disha

Yes Karan.. (saying this, tears runs down through her cheeks) since 6 yrs we have been into relationship, when we were in college you gave me so much time, you cared so much for me and now ? you hardly even care to call me, it is only u and ur work which is their in our relationship, but tell me Karan, where I am ?

Karan

Listen Disha, u r just getting it all wrong, its not like that I don't love you, but you know how the life of a doctor is, all day and night we have to be there in the hospital attending patients, we cant just take it so easily.

Disha

And what about us Karan ?

Karan (gets annoyed)

Ok' then tell me, what can I do? Shall I leave everything my job, my career and sit with you all the time' no tell me..

Disha looks at him in shock

Disha (after a pause)

You have really changed Karan.. you have really changed, you are not the same person whom I met in college, whom I loved so much..

Karan (taking a heavy sigh to control his anger)

Listen Disha, you are about to spend your life with a doctor, so you will have to do this adjustment or else do what u wish to do'

Disha (looking deeply into his eyes and after a pause)

I know what I have to do..Saying this she takes out the ring which karan gave to her, puts it on the table and leaves the restaurant.

When Disha sits inside the auto with tearful eyes, she remembers a poetry which she wrote :

Ehna Aakhiya Wich Si Pyaar Bada,

Uhne Kade Aakhiya De Wich Takiya Hi Nahi,

Es Dil Wich Si Sirf Tasveer Usdi,

Main Apne Dil Wich Hor Kuch Rakheya Hi Nai...

As the auto starts moving, Disha's beautiful long hair gently touches her cheeks and the recalls the further lines of her poetry''.

Ajj Dil Puchh Baitha Appni Hi Tasveer To,

Tu Ki Paya Appni Taqdeer To,

Teri Tasveer Dil De Sheeshe Nu Vikhayi,

Te Keha Ajeha Pyaar Paya Taqdeer To.

Vich Hawawan Kade Vi Deeve Jagde Na,

Khiza Di Rutte Phull Kade Vi Sajde Na,

Bhull Ke Vi Na Saanu Kite Bhull Javin,

Kuonki Yaar Guwaache Fer Kade Vi Labhde Na'..

She recalls the memories of her and Karan in happier times.
