Bani is also at fault

Hi Girls,

How much we all are (including me) in love with Bani and Jai, however I think in this particular Anu matter Bani is at fault. She is not Anu's mother and neither does have any concrete right in the family at the moment. And Anu being pregnant is a very delicate matter which should be addressed by her own parents. Jigyasa has full right to keep Jai also out of it.

But Bani here is being again the great human being and tries to hide this whole fact, secretly trying for Anu's abortion. What if they went for abortion and Anu would had died or soemthing or even worse Jigyasa would have heard the news from seomone outside like Anu's boyfriend or his parents. Bani knows Jigyasa does not like her and even then she does this, offcourse Jigyasa's ego is going to be more hurt when she knows this and more so hurt because Bani is trying to keep her out of the most important/saddest even in her daughters life.

If I am a mother, however bad I am, I want to know whats going on in my kids life or what major event is happening there. I dont want anyone and defienlty not a person whom I dont like to keep me away from it. Its just not fair or ethically correct.

This is what I dont like in Ekta Kapoor's serials. She is portyaing a wrong message here. One one level she has portyared Bani as the sweetest person and made us all fall in love with her and on the next level here Bani is doing the most stupidist mistake and even then we are all gaga over Bani as how great she is. Niceness is differrent than being great or correct, a human being is great when he let others take their own responsibilty and let them live their life because they are capable to do so.

I agree to your view point 😛 but kekta maayi wants to show Bani has a sacrificial lamb who like to become a saviour and solve others problem and then face the brunt herself. 😡 I hope Bani shown to be sensible and mature in future she stops her saintly atitude or else she gonna face a lot of problems in Walia house has Ranveer about to take revenge for his mothers insult. 😡 But good part is this time Bani will have Jais support😃

I completely agree. It's just a disheartening to see the women in Kekta mai's shows to be so righteous that they completely give up thinking for themselves! I mean Bani can be good and sweet but she doesn't have to solve every problem in the world and if does decided to do so she doesn't need to take the blame on herself and malign her reputation to save Anu's! I was very disappointed in the way they portrayed Bani as being the saviour who has absolutely no say when she could've been portrayed as being strong and more tactful!

I think it is traditional Indian mentality to spare parents / elders from such crisis... Bani being close to Anu's age became her confidant and Bani did not want to hurt Jai by telling him although I feel that she should have..

they will always try to be mahaan by keeping a secret with them and trying to solve the problem...

they will not even share with their husbands...
all they say is "main aapko dhuk nahin dena chahathi thi"

I agree... Khandan ki izza and stuff is for outsiders. I think Bani should have spoken to the elders of the family and let them sort out everything. Anu was not her responsibility... She is her parents, and her parents have a say in all the major decisions of her life and not Bani, who is still relatively an outsider...

I agree.....Bani should have definitely confided in Jai at the very least. I still don't comprehend why she confessed to Jai that she was pregnant in the first place. I understand why she might have given her name at the hospital but it was plain lunacy on her part to carry on this charade.

But with Bani situation how could she trust someone who kept harping about their divorce everytime she wanted to share his problems etc. He was nice to her in the last episode only other wise he was always rude to her, so how was she to trust him. 😕

Bani did go to Jigs with Anus habit of coming late and so... but Jigs being Jigs did not listen and started bashing Bani. Being a mother I would have gone to my daughter and asked her what her problem is why she was coming home late. Jigs was too busy making plans,in getting rid of Bani instead of looking out for her daughter and being there for her.

She still has all her priorities wrong. Bani saved Anu and her family( izzat of Jigs & Ranveer especially, who keep harping about it all the time) from a major embarressment in public eyes.

Instead of being thank full Jigs and Ranveer still blaming Bani???? Doesnot make any sence. Shes still worried about her ego then her daughter.
