Anu declared b4 everyone that its she who is pregnant and not bani . jigs, jai, adi ranveer, all stupefied. Anu tells the incident- anu met with bani in the clinic when bai went ofr her bad health and anu for pregnancy test. When the doctor asked her name bani told her name so that noone questions about an unwed mother from walia family. As anu said the truth, all the words that jigs said to bani hurried back to the mind of jigs.( For the first time jigs had the realization of defeat.đ). slowly jigs went to anu and gave resounding slap.bani tried to stop but jigs just made her shut her mouth. Jai said understandingly that its not time to slap anu but has to thnk about solving the problem. Turning to anuu jai said ,annoyingly, that he never expected it from anu .looking at bani with ashamed face he tells that hecant understand whether he should thank bani or apologise to her. bani stared at the floor with an expressionless face. jigs, flaring up , screamed at bani blaming her to interfere in her daughter's life as jigs is the only one to decide if anu willl abort or get married or commit suicide. Jai, completely disgusted yelled at jigs that he doesn't want to listen anything abt bani, "not a single word" đł
Jigs is astonished. Jai reprimands adi and jigs for not giving time to their children as their were busy in their own quarrel, still he can understand adi was busy in business but what jigs was doing? Jigs' was shocked to be insulted like this. Jai accused jigs to be bad mother who cudnot give time for her children as she was more busy in insulting bani . jigs, in an emotional moment, outbursted that she ,indeed made the biggest mistake as she made bani to sit on mandap to save jai's prestige, she is paying the price as jai is now insulting her for this girl. Jigs insults jai that he is only mad in the walia ouse who did not give any value to her contribution of this years. Jai, in a icecold voice repeated that whatever he said is absolutely correct and he wont take his words back.
Jigs , red in anger stormed out of the room, ranveer, smirking, followed her, jai , fed up went away, adi consoled anu while bani stood speechless.
Rano and other students are protesting aagain fee hike when sahoil comes and asks what the big deal?in fee hike? Rano snaps back and said that he shpuld think about all students. Sahil, thinks for a while and then agreeing with rano , got a palackard and began protesting. Just then the security guards came lathicharging. Sahil took rano to one side (ankho hi ankho mein ishara ho gaya!đ)while sahil and rano were busy reading each others eyesđ poor sahil got hit on head. đRano , quickly took him to other safe place
bani is packing bags and was about to leave when jai entered her room. There is dead silence, slight breeze is blowing. Jai looked with pleading eyes to bani, bani was about to go when jai hold her hands and said " you don't have to go anywhere" jiya dharak , jiya dharak,âŚ.played in the background. Bani and jai looked at each other.(love is in the air â¤ď¸.)
Jigs is sitting on bed completely shattered. ranveer comes to her and tries to comfort her saying that bani has to pay for the humiliation of jigs. Jigs , gasping , says that she will never forget the humiliation from jai for the "do kauri" girl. Just then anu enters the room crying, when jigs getting mad , yells at ranveer to make her leave the room. Ranveer was about to follow the order , when jigs stops him. Jigs goes to her daughter weeping and lamented that what wrong she has made in anu's upbringing that she made her mother humiliated before the whole world?; jigs , in choked voice asked anu why did she not think her mom as a friend this time when jigs has never stopped her from anything and anu always shared everything with her mom. Jigs was almost breaking down when her jealousy returned and she screamed at anu to go to bani if she finds her such a goddess. Anu tries to explain jigs but jigs paid no heed to her and yelled to go out. Anu went away crying. Ranveer, for the first time had a look of pain on his face as he watched his mom & sister .đ
Ranveer hugs jigs and advices her to take a break and leave walia house. Jigs agreed to the idea and promises herself that she will never return to walia house until bani gets out of the house and jai wants forgiveness for his behaviour. She asks ranveer to take care of anu and sahil. Ranveer , hugs jigs , with tearful eyes he swears that bani has to pay for every pain of jigs.( ranveer! đĄJigs herself is only responsible for her tears.)
