What was that amazing episode we just saw? I can barely believe it happened and yet I have confirmed it twice on television and once on youtube, so it can't be a dream! 😆
It was all just beautiful, I thought and like reliving their history through one magical episode. It was the return and the triumph of the love that was always meant to win the day but took a long time coming in this ML track!
Come to think of it, the spoilers gave away just the right amount of information to draw us in completely and then BAM! We get something we never expected in our wildest dreams! I LOVE that we had no idea there was going to be a song, nor did we know that it was going to be an entirely Maaneet-centred episode.
The song choice was perfect, I thought for the moment that the couple are in at the moment.
All the little touches in the scene invoked flashbacks in my head without them showing them literally. When the Geet was tending to Maan's wounds I thought of him rescuing her from Brij and co. in the forsest and then of course there was the water with which she washed, water which has always connected the two of them, the dupatta, which has always played a huge role. The way he held her dupatta and gave her those kaathil looks reminded me of the jhooti mangetar scene in the red saree, the candle reminded me of maula mere, when they both held it for a second and finally the payal removal reminded me of their adhura SR and that killer dialogue, "kitna shor kar rahi hain tumhari ye payal..."
I felt like this was a tribute from the director to fans who have watched every episode and know their Maaneet inside out and I would like to thank whoever is responsible for this very beautifully executed masterpiece of an episode!
