Why blame CVs for this track?

Seriously!!! When the CVs showed Anandi move on with her life and try to start adult education classes we hated the show. We demanded that Anandi get into a more glamorous profession not taking into account the uphill battle that women's education and adult education is even today in rural North India. There were numerous threads here complaining about the track and how we wanted some action.

When Anandi took the first tentative steps towards becoming a social worker, we wanted the tracks to end soon. The TRPs hit an all time low when Anandi was fighting for Asha's rights.

When the CVs showed the confrontation between Jagya and Gauri we rejoiced. When Gauri was mean to Anandi over phone the TRPs soared. So when the news leaked out that Gauri was going to once again enter into a slanging match with Anandi we waited with baited breath. The forum has never been so active over the last couple of weeks as in the last two days.

So let's all party if the serial is turning regressive, with the usual cat-fights amongst two women over the prized attention of a wimpy male it is solely because we demand such stuff. Let Gauri be a pain to eardrums, let Anandi be as silent as a sphinx and shed copious tears and let Jagya be the wimp with hay for brains and plastic for a spine. That's what we want to see and that's what is being dished out to us.

we do want an action but fr betterment of Anandi !

we can't rejoice in Anandi's pain cz v r still humans !!

it wud be better if CVs show J and G behind bars .. Anandi busy with her social work alongwith being a mastarni of high schhol of gals and oldies..
& jst end the overemotional drama as soon as possible... cz Anandi's misery and J-G's shameless acts are doing nothing good fr the society

At the end of evry episode a lady gives bhashan in the form of 1-2 sentences but unfortunately show itself is teaching ppl to be stubborn and sit silently in a room to cry their eyes out if sum1 hurts them badly instead of asking fr justice...

The TRPs soar during the Gauri-Anandi-Jagya haveli track precisely because most viewers, (apart from those find negative characters as their role models), want to see Jagya and Gauri, especially Jagya getting punished for what they did. Every time there is a haveli confrontation, Gauri is shown her true picture and put to her place. Similarly, Jagya is questioned and cursed for all he did against Anandi. I guess that's what people enjoy--Jagya and Gauri's penalty-- for many people still believe that those who do wrong are punished by a higher divine justice and they should realize and repent for their mistakes.
I wonder if TRPs would soar if dadisa dances ghumar for her parpota or Gauri gets accepted to the haveli or Jagya gets his family's approval and enjoys a happy life. Anandi doing samaj sewa is a boring track, precisely because it doesn't change anything for Anandi, nor does it mete out any punishment for the shameless couple doing "maza" in Mumbai.

There is more activity on the forum coz yet again - everyone wl be together and there will be a fresh opportunity to finally sort things again in a clean and balanced way.

We want to see Anandi empowered. By just teaching elders in DS haveli and playing with puppets - doing timepass - she was just wasting her time and our patience. We want to see Anandi think about her own self and get above her abnormal attachment to this haveli - we want her to get out and go to college, meet young people, educate and empower herself. And then come back and do samaj sudhar.

Please don't be so banal about the forum complaining abt positivity and rejoicing in the 2 biwi - one hubby saga. This forum is still hoping some CV will drop in someday and read about what we want and give us a strong, smart, happy Anandi who can become a beacon of strength on her own merit.

She has it in her to stand up and be an example to all women. Show that - women cannot just be discarded as unfashionable old clothes. They have a lot of strength and resilience and life does not end as soon as your hubby dies aor dumps you - there's a lot lot lot more to life than just keeping house for a man.

Hi understand your point on how majority is not too keen on watching certain stories and we glued when they fight etc. but i don't think it is entirely reflective on the forum. What I think happens is you suffer some sort of forum fatigue and can't be bothered to reply on topics. Then bounce back for another stint and the forum started picking up prior to the boring asha story, so it doesn't necessarily back your theory. Also there were recent mod changes and before the recent one the others were pro topic closures and warnings so it wasn't really conjusive to debate. now I the atmosphere seems more relaxed.

If you really go through the posts reg CVs,you may NOT comment like this.

First of all is there any wrong in expecting a betterment?It is only our grievance to make an exploited woman economically independent & help such ill fated.
Blaming is easy.but do you know how much would it cost to conduct adult education?(Instead if she makes; the govt agencies & NGOs meant & expending for this purpose only ,work to meet the end won't it be better?..and infact ther are innumerable constructive suggestions already posted.Read them first & respond to those posts then & there itself so that u can understand the reason behind such posts),

No post would made without reason.Please don't take it granted that we don't have any thing to do except lecturing to CVs.If possible come out with a constructive criticism rather pointing n wasting time quarrelling among ourselves without any productive outcome..

If blaming is the only mission you shouldered,(without asking for constructive measures to assess the audience pulse as to know what the majority expect 4m BV & how to get 2 rank#1)this would b the last post in your thread.
