Hey people, i know all of you enjoyed today's episode with cute Arhi scenes ๐Ÿ˜ณ and Arnav's laughter due to Khushi's makeup ๐Ÿ˜‰

But my this post is for Akash. He is very nice guy. ๐Ÿ˜› The way he expresses his silent love and affection for Payal is just amazing. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Payal was also really good in today's episode. He bought vegetables so that he can pay for Payal's purchase. He gave aaloo for Khushi. Such a cute to be Jijia-saali jodi. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜ณ
The best thing i liked about Akash was that he didn't come to have tea, as Payal's parents were not at home. He is such a gentleman. ๐Ÿ‘
he couldn't have learnt that from his rude mom.. hello hi bye bye..๐Ÿคฃ

They work more with their minds than their physical strength. What one person finds attractive need not be what another finds attractive. Every one has his/her weakness and his/her strengths. While Akaash could do better by being more assertive, Arnav could do better by being more sensitive to people's feelings. He repeatedly hurts even people he loves, like his own sister. While there may be women who find men like him attractive, there are others who find quieter, tender and caring men like Akaash more attractive. I have nothing seriously against Arnav. All I'm saying is that there are different strokes for different strokes. As to producing better offsprings I don't think that theory works in human beings. Assertive men need not also be the most fertile beings. I've known of men who ooze manliness but have problems in siring offsprings. I don't see the correlation here.

Hi Opti...It is OK...we don't have to agree on preferences...Yes...different people have different preferences...and may be for Payal's character...she is not looking for a typical alpha male characteristic...In any case...these theories are more than someone's opinion...there is some support to this and also to the theory of natural selection...Does not mean every single union is made that way...Of course not... As intellectual as we are...there is a part of human behavior which come from animal instincts...Any way no point debating...because I don' think we are disagreeing on the main point about Payal and Akash being suitable for each other...we are just saying it in different ways...
Rahi baat Aakash being more assertive...that is probably more of my preference not Payal's๐Ÿ˜‰

Sush, the alpha male theory is increasingly being questioned. There is increasing credence to the growing attractiveness of beta males, especially among women who themselves are great achievers. So the beta males who are the more sensitive, intellectual and caring kinds are becoming more popular than they were before as they are perfect foil for these women.

Ha ha..Opti...I can't believe we have taken a thread that was simply meant to be appreciative of Payash cute romance to an alpha male discussion...and I know I am guilty of this...with my one liner comment...which did prsent acommon stereotype...We know how good any stereotyping is...so apologies for being flippant about that comment on this thread...๐Ÿ˜Š
The point you make about beta male characteristics being increasingly more desirable in modern society is an absoltely valid one...specially as more women are stepping out to work and are high achievers themselves...There is also talk about gamma men now that I hear...๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†.
The question of finding a mate is more complex in modern society with every consideration that goes into it and not purely based on some biological signals...on which the alpha male theory was based... However...in my opinion the theory can not be completely dismissed...as human beings are not goverened completely by logic or intellect only but do have some basis of animal origin in them...We are predictably irrational in some sense...
Disclaimer- These are philosophical point of views only and are not intended to reflect the the superiority of one preference vs. the other! If any of the comments I made in this thread offend any one's feelings for any characters in the show...or otherwise...my apologies in advance...None of that was intended...๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I dont think I agree with this! Some bad boys are best left alone, as they can be selfish and not very good life partners... I guess some bad boys are only good for a good time! However SOME can change and become a great companion (as we hope Arnav will)...
Don't get me wrong... love Arnav's "Non nice guy" hotness... However NICE GUYS DO GET GIRLS!
I think girls need to be mature enough to recognize what is great about a nice guy! No one wants to live with a "Drama queen" 24/7. You DO need someone stable to live your life with...
MY husband has a bit of "bad boy" in him, but he is a nice guy too... that's why I married him! (You do need bit of both NAUGHTY & NICE to keep life interesting) LOL
But yes... Shyam and Arnav can both take "Chivalry" lessons from their bro Akash... who is a real sweetheart!

Hi Sush!

You are so gracious and polite! And I also like the way you and Opti are discussing this point, but without being rude and offensive. ๐Ÿ˜Š
I've come across some posts in this forum where people while disagreeing with someone's opinion try to prove that others are wrong and they only are right...not mention they are very biased towards/against particular actors.

Hi Shweta...I think you are the kind one here with your remark!! Thanks!
@MyDarcyfan...now that I have really presented a very stereotypical view with that one liner comment...which was more of a tonque in cheek comment than anything else...I am not sure if I should continue to SPAM Meenakshi's thread to defend it or open up a different one to discuss this tangent that I seemed to have set this thread on...
I probably will start another thread and not SPAM this one with an onslaught of my views...๐Ÿ˜ƒ
