Aamna Shariff Surveen Chawla
Kahiin To Hoga girls, Aamna Shariff (who plays Kashish) and Surveen Chawla (Charu), are at loggerheads not only on TV (fighting for Sujal), but in real life as well.
Says an insider, "Aamna and Surveen hate each other. Leave aside talking; they don't even sit with the same set of people. If Aamna is sitting with a group, Surveen will not join them — and vice versa. Aamna comes and greets everyone, except Surveen."
The source says the two girls haven't had an open fight yet, but there's a palpable cold war between them.
Aamna's insecurity
The friction started about six months ago, when Surveen's track started getting a lot of prominence.
"Pehle aisa nahin tha. At that time, Aamna was all smiles. But when Surveen's part started getting more attention, Aamna started feeling insecure. She feels she is not getting the scope to portray her histrionics," adds the source.
The hostility began when Aamna thought Surveen was aping her look. "She felt Surveen had copied her hairstyle, and in profile, looked very much like her.
Also, she feels Surveen looks younger and fresher than her, and that's a sore point, especially because Aamna is younger. And everyone at Balaji agrees that Surveen is a better actress," the source says.
Doing a Smriti?

Is it because of the animosity on the set that Surveen is being bumped off in the show? The source says it has become difficult to shoot with the two actresses in the same frame.
"The other day, Aamna deleted a line from her dialogues and Surveen didn't know about it. There are many such problems, as they don't rehearse with each other."
The buzz on the show's sets is that Surveen is being bumped off because Aamna put her foot down — similar to what Smriti Z Iraani did to Apara Mehta in Kyunki.
Dead end
Ekta Kapoor confirmed that Surveen's character was coming to an end. "Yes, Surveen is dying in Kahiin To Hoga," she said. Added Shipra, the creative person on the show, "Charu needs to die. It will happen within a month."
Surveen was more forthcoming than Aamna on the issue. "Yes, it is true that Aamna and I don't talk to each other. We have different groups. As far as I remember, it started about five to six months ago. The coldness was started by her."
On her upcoming death in the show, Surveen said, " I am dying in the serial, but that's not because of Aamna. My death is the need of the hour, in the best interest of the story."
