I don't their dad is thinking like that, obviously we know the other advantages of Siddhi becoming the bahu of the Chopra family, but their dad is already in too much stress due to his wife in hospital. That is the only reason he wants Siddhi as their bahu to make Veena better.

And in Garauv's defense I don't think he would do that anytime soon, maybe later but not now with Veena hospitalized.
