Part 15:
Anjali goes numb for a second, as she witnesses what she does. By the look on her face you can tell she hasn't registered what she had just seen.
Khushi holds Anjali;s hand consoling her. Anjali free's the hand instantly and says defiantly ..
"kisi ne madad maang li hogi ... toh woh unki madad kar rahey honge ..."
As Arnav and Khushi try to get off, she stays put as though not wanting to come to terms with what they had just seen. To Arnav, its evident something definitely is fishy but he wants to make sure he doesnt come to a conclusion this fast.
Anjali is still rambling ...
"Haan, kisi ko chot lagi hogi aur ...inhone kaha hoga ... aao main marham laga doonga ..."
ya phir ... "wo aurat khud kahin unke peeche ...
Arnav is torn between wanting to go and check what it is and being with his sister ...
Khushi looks at him and gestures with her eyes that he should go and she will handle Anjali ... He doesnt know why, but the look in her eyes seem to assure him and he wants to believe her. He gets lost in them for a moment, as she looks at him and then quickly looks away on realising he has been staring at her. Him looking her in the eye also embarrasses her so she chooses to look away. She finally says " Anjali ji .. aap shaant ho jayiye ... Arnav ji ja rahey hai .. aur hum asha karte hai, ke aisa kuch bura na ho .. " (secretly fearing the worst in her mind) ...
But as Arnav starts to walk, Anjali wipes off the tear thats just trickled down from her eyes and says ... "hume wahan jaana hai ...
Kh: Anjali ji ... wo gaye hai na ...
Anjali gets off the car and starts to walk ... towards the tent ... when Khushi has no option but to follow ...!!!
To his surprise Anjali walks past Arnav, drawing the tents curtain exposing Sham and the young girl who are taken by surprise . There is a shocked look in everyone's face as Shyam quickly continues to talk to the girl ... " hum aapke ghar pe paise bhejwaa denge na ... aap chinta kyun karti ho ... aur haan .. ab toh hum apne parivaar ke saamne aap se wada kar rahey hai .. todenge nahi ..."
Saaley saab aap yahan?
Anjali gives Sham a disapproving look ... and says ... "Gopal Ji aap... yahan kya kar rahey ho .. aap toh ...
Sh: bahar jaane waala tha, par wo kya hai na, humare court ke watchman saab ki beti .. jo ki aapke saamne baithi hai ..yahan aayi thi, unke baba bimar jo hai ...
The girl looks at him surprised, as he gives her a warning stare and she quickly covers up and nods ... She then gets up ... and says .. " main baad main aati hoon ... " and she walks away ... as Arnav has his gaze fixed at the girl ... As she walks away, they realise that the buttons of her blouse from behind are totally unbuttoned and she had clumsily covered them with a dupatta that falls off as she leaves in a hurry ... Arnav is totally shocked at the realisation that something for sure is fishy ...Just the way Arnav does... so is Khushi ... their eyes fall on the same thing and they both stare at it shocked and then they look at each other .. there is a moment of awkwardness and embarrassment before they look away ..this time its Arnav who looks away .. To Arnav, he could kill his jeeja if he knew he was messing arounf with someone... Arnav is about to react .. when they see Anjali talk and they go quiet ...
"please aap mujhe maaf kar deejiye Gopal ji .. jo maine aap pe shak kiya ... wo kya hai na ."
Shyam takes Anjali's hands in his and says ... "aapko kuch kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai ... hum jaante hai, ke aapki jagah koi bhi hota toh, wo zaroor aisey hi sochta .. aisa sochna normal hai .. " he jokes .. and then looks at Arnav .. and goes .. haina saaley saab... and notices the stern look in Arnav's eyes which seem to tell he is not buying the story and he looks away ...
Anjali wipes away her tears bringing a slight smile on her face as she looks at Khushi who doesnt know how to react ...
"Saaley saab .. agar aapko aitraaz na ho toh kya hum apni patni ke saath thoda waqt bita sakte hai? ab hum yahan ruk gaye hai, toh kal hum kal hi jayenge .. aur yahan inka mood bhi toh theek karna hoga ..."
An: jee nahi, main ab bilkul theek hoon.. aur aap apne kaam pe jaa sakte ho ...
Ar: haan di ... aap ghar chalo .. jeejaji ko unka kaam karne do ...
Shyam looks at Arnav makes a wicked face and says ... "ab lagta hai ... patni ko nahi... saaley saab ko yakeen dilana padega .. ke aapne jo kuch bhi dekha ...
Arnav is quiet ...
An: aisa kuch nahi hai ... chote bas humare liye pareshan ho gaye the .. haina chote?
Ar: jab baat aapki ho toh main kabhi bhi koi bhi chance nahi le sakta di, wo insaan jo bhi ho ...
Anjali looks at Arnav, and smiles and says ... "aap ek kaam karo chote, aap Khushi ji ko ghar pe chod ke aa jaana, hum inke saath aa jayenge ... " she does this because she knows her brother would now have to be left alone since he had seen and perhaps felt too many things in too short span a time .. she also felt, she needed to spend some time around her husband. She had partly felt guity for doubting him ...
Kh: Nahi Anjali ji, hum ghar khud chaley jayenge ... ab humara ghar kaafi paas hai yahan se ...
Shyam: accha...? waise aap rehti kahan ho Khushi ji ... wahi bataya tha na naam aapne?
Khushi knows what he is trying to do, when she pretends to get a phone call and says ... "ek minute ... phone aa raha hai.. and she walks out .. she is too shocked, and she see's the creep in Sham again after ages .. so he hadnt changed, now he had been messing around with Anjali's life as well and doing all this behind their back ... and innocent Anjali had no clue as to what was happening...
But for now, she needed to get outta here ... She knew Arnav would not leave Anjali alone with Shyam after what they had seen .. so she felt the best for her would be to leave from there ...!!!
She comes back home totally rattled .. Without saying a word walks into her room.. trying to recollect and reflect over what had happened ... she remembers the look on Arnavs face as well as the girl walking away .. and then she tells herself ... "ab hum kya kare ... jeeji bhi nahi hai ... aur wo bechari Anjali ji ... shayad hume kal Arnav ji se baat karke unhey saari sacchayi bata deni chahiye ... taake wo apni behen ko iss sab se bahar le aa sake ..."
"Lekin humari zindagi ka itna bada sach, jo koi nahi jaanta ... kya main ek ajnabee ko bata sakti hoon???"
She ponders over it again...
"lekin yeh Anjaliji ke Zindagi ka sawal hai ...
She decides to talk to her sister ... and she walks upto the landline to dial the number ...
As Payal picks up the call on the other side, Khushi decides not to tell her sister anything hearing her exciting voice ...
"Khushi aaj main Akash ji se Mili ... wo bhi yahan dilli main hi hai .. humne kaafi der tak baatein ki .. aur pata hai ..
As Payal speaks on Khushi is so happy for her sister who had blissfully forgotten she was supposed to have met a guy she was to marry and had been going on and on about Akash, she decides she will not trouble her sister .. she hangs up ...
She cuts the call ... and is about to leave when her cell phone rings ...she picks it up only to hear heavy breathing once more ... and this time ... the voice speaks out the address of her house ...humne aapko dhoond hi liya Khushi ji ..."
A chill runs down her spine as she starts sweating ... she is totally tensed ... without wasting time .. she cuts the call and runs into her room !!!
Arnav who is sitting in his room thinking to himself as well .. knows something is totally wrong .. he also knew he would have to find out what the entire story was .. he would keep a watch on his brother in law .. but before that, he needed to talk to someone else ... Khushi Kumari Gupta, because his family secret was now common knowledge to a stranger ... what if she went around telling people about it? he would have to talk to her ... !!! and he would the very next day !!
