Battle of the jodis
With Rajeev and Sanchali out of Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, the remaining two couples will now sing to win

This week will see the tearful elimination of the rather popular couple Rajiv and Sanchali on Zee's Ek Main Aur Ek Tu. This leaves the coast clear for a one-to-one combat between the two finalist couples Ujjaini-Aishwarya and Banjyotsana-Sharib.
The episode will be telecast this Friday. Even the judges Hariharan and Leslie Lewis were visibly unhappy to see Rajiv and Sanchali leave. And now, it will be a fight to the finish between the remaining two jodis—the finalists.
Sharib says, "I'm not going to pretend that I'll be happy to see our opponents win. No way! Banjyotsana and I have struggled hard to get so far. I fought with my parents to come to Mumbai. Even Banjyotsana's parents are anxious about her. We need to win, and we must."
Equally determined to bag the award is Aishwarya, who's from Muzaffarpur in Bihar. "It's my parents' dream that I should win. And mine too. Ujjaini and I are friends with Sharib and Banjyotsana but that's only off stage. But once we step on stage, it's me and Ujjaini against the rest of the world. So, there is no friendship on stage. We're singing to win."
With their killer instincts so nakedly on display it will be an aggressive tussle for the finals on June 30. Producer-director Gajendra Singh intends to get a 70-piece orchestra to accompany the finalists as they sing.
