Today's scene was so tiny that it barely makes up for a post. While everything at that moment was collapsing in front of him with Kinjal's appearance, he overhears the sweetest praises about his wife. It is like on a dark night when the moon shines through it brightens the land so too did Gopi brighten Ahem's dark mood.
When Ahem heard Gopi's name being called out his eyes followed the voices. He was curious to to catch the excitement and the chat the girls were to have with her. As he was in clear earshot he was able to listen on to the entire conversation. His inquisitive nature towards her granted him to look on at her reaction when they were praising, complimenting and asking questions about her clothing. He so happened to be in her viewing path to meet her eyes and admire her receiving these praises for a bit.
Even after Gopi excused herself from the girls they continued to count Ahem's blessings for having such a wife. He was jolted out of his dreamy world when Koki excused herself, only to return to it and brim with pride inwardly as his eyes softened. Did he just feel more love for her?
