Ammaji disheartened, Leela hopeful

With Bigg Boss being aired at the primetime slot, three shows on Colors have been shifted to the afternoon slot.

While Ammaji of Na Aana Is Des Laado is feeling disheartened, Leela of Hamari Saas Leela is optimistic that show will retain its viewership.

Apara Mehta aka Leela feels the change won't really affect the show's TRP. She says, "Honestly speaking, the new timings won't be much of a difference for the show. In fact, our show was being watched more during the afternoon reruns." On the other hand, Meghna Malik aka Ammaji is disheartened. "As an actor, it's disheartening for anyone to be shifted to a different time slot because we had loyal audiences at that time slot not for some months but for years. This sudden change will definitely affect the viewership of our show. People who used to watch our show after work won't be able to catch it. We will definitely lose them. Only people free during daytime will see Laado hereon."

Does this change affect them as an actor? Apara claims, "No, it doesn't. I've done plenty of shows from different time slots for years. I don't think it affects an actor."

The disheartened Meghna, on the other hand, feels otherwise. "Yes, it does affect you in a way. It's discouraging but it will definitely not affect our abilities. As an actor, we are always into giving our best. I am hopeful that our viewers appreciate our hard work despite the change and continue to watch it."

Colors has moved its primetime show Naa Aana Iss Des Meri Ladoo from 10.30pm to 1 pm, Laagi Tujhse Lagan from 8.30pm to 1.30 and Hamari Saas Leela from 7pm to 2 pm from 3rd October.
