Trust and understanding: building blocks of a relationship

Hello friends! Trust and understanding are the building blocks of any relationship. This week, I had to work hard to restore peace between my in-laws and parents. A small misinterpretation created a rift between the families, leaving me worried to tackle the situation.
Ladies attending pooja at our place assumed that I was pregnant because Ma was taking care of me. Gayatri Ma obviously didn't like this. She had planned to announce the news of my pregnancy in a grand gala way when the time was right. Women gossiping about my pregnancy bothered her so much that she cancelled her plans of a lavish celebration. I wasn't happy either as this created a misconception between Gayatri Ma and Ma. Ma even apologized to her. She still remained miffed. No one was at fault here but the mood was, nevertheless, less than celebratory.
Gayatri Ma instead decided to have a simple pooja. I assumed that my parents were not invited as Gayatri Ma was angry. However, it was later revealed that Ma had somehow misunderstood that the pooja was cancelled. No one came from my family and this hurt both families. These events took a toll on me -I was hurt, upset, helpless, disturbed and extremely worried about the increasing misunderstandings between the two families. Even Naitik felt the same. As a result, I ended up with a fever.
My sickness came in as a boon in disguise as this brought the two families together again. I was pleasantly surprised to know that Naitik had called Ma and facilitated a meeting between both families. I was very happy and relieved to see Ma-Bauji at our place. The tension was finally cleared as everyone ended up being together.
