Anyway coming to the main topic, Mausam is far away from recovering it's cost.

it will end near at its cost or in mild profit by satellite rights and music rights ..buts yes theatrical box office collection will tag this film"flop"

The budget of Mausam is 42 crores...

The producers have recovered till the weekend...

23.5 cr (India net) + 7.5 cr (Overseas) + 12 cr (Satellite) + 5 cr (Music) = 48 cr...

So..basically producers have recovered their investment by the weekend itself...

Shahid did not take his actual paycheck...and his remuneration is going to be tied up with what profits Mausam makes...hopefully he will get something substantial for his 1.5 years of investment...

Aaj kal mausam bada kharaab hai...

Sorry, bad joke. But I couldn't resist 😆 I've seen the film and although it moves at a slow pace and editing is a bit loose...I still liked it. Sonam and Shahid should be paired opp. each other again because they do share a natural chemistry. And this is coming from someone who is not a fan of either :P

but back home, the film is almost a disaster...if not, below avg at best...its wayy off the "hit" tag...The producers should now concentrate on just getting their investment back with a few measly profits...

when did i say tat gross = movie is blockbuster hit?😕 as varsas has quoted in a post, the estimates are 23.5 cr (India net) + 7.5 cr (Overseas) + 12 cr (Satellite) + 5 cr (Music) = 48 cr. so don't worry the producers will recover the costs. but yah the same cannot be said abt shahid. and anyways its just 6 days to the movie. isn't it too early to declare it as flop as some believe here in this thread?
