I am the same, even though I know I am setting my self up for disappointment I have to watch the epi. I guess I'm an addict!

Yeah I wouldn't be able to cope if I didn't prepare myself first. If I'd watched these episodes without checking WU's first I'd have been an emotional wreck. I'd still be blubbing now! I'm a laughing stock for my brother and sisters because of how easily and how much I cry at emotional tv programmes.
So it's not so much self discipline as it is self preservation.
