Alina loves her new look -- Interview

Alina (Priya Chauhan) from Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani on STAR One used to be a simple, bespectacled and timid girl, but that is now a thing of the past. After Piya's (Sukirti Kandpal) drastic makeover, Alina has turned into a hot and gorgeous babe, the center of attraction at the Dobriyals party. We speak to Alina and find out what she thinks of her new look.

How do you feel after your makeover? Are you liking your new look?
I am really happy, as I had never imagined that I could ever look this good. It was my love for Abhay that motivated me to get the makeover. I am glad that everyone is accepting me and complimenting me for my new look. I loved the beautiful red gown that I wore for the Dobriyals' party. I am so happy to be away from my usual kurtis and spectacles.

To whom will you give the credit for your new look?
Piya was the one who took the onus of getting my makeover done. She helped me pick everything, right from my outfit to my makeup and hairstyle. I am grateful to her.

What was Abhay's reaction towards your makeover?
I am sure Abhay loved it. I was in seventh heaven after seeing the way Abhay was looking after me, and behaving so romantically. I had never expected to have such a wonderful love story with my dream man.

How would you define beauty?
Looking presentable is important in today's times. Of course, being a beautiful person from within also matters.

Do you believe that physical appearance plays an important role in winning over your love?
Yes, looking presentable is important, even when it comes to matters of love. Besides that, the way you carry yourself is also important. If you can talk well and are well-mannered, it should not be difficult to win over your love.

What are your plans regarding Abhay?
For now, I am completely over the moon since Abhay has accepted me as his girlfriend. The only thing on my mind right now is the dance with Abhay at the party. I just want to look into his eyes and forget the world around me. I want to be with Abhay forever.

How do you feel about Jeh accepting your relationship?
Jeh's approval was very important for me, since he is the only family member that I have now. I had never expected him to approve our relationship and it came as a pleasant surprise. I feel like I am living a dream.
