Shanti, I hope some competition is offered to Sp's no1 serial in the upcoming months as Iam loving what RS has to offer in his new serial on Colors. Iam hoping Colors can give some competition for no2 channel slot because of some new additions as now Colors happens to be fav channel.😆 . RS praised Colors by saying when everybody follows the same trend Colors offers something different.
I love the new offering at 7pm .👏
Also big boss is on the way and Big boss 5 will be on for a longer duration than KBC, Iam sure some seesaw will happen some.😉

Definatly , I think with Big Boss becoming BIGGER there will be ough completion ..

BALH is already seeing the 10:30 pm shakes with Sallu and Sanju on the seesaw in the coming weeks😆😆😆
But I am sure that there will be some dynamics with these new shows adding,,,
RS's KTLH is also airing from 3rd October I think BB is also airing the same week

So there will be a lot of things happening on charts
I would'nt be surprised if SONY and Colors will be on par somehow til KBC airs

What a coincidence, Sallu and Sanju on a seesaw , is it an indication .😆. Anyways, what does it matter which channel is where, SP is still not thinking of Bidaai2.😡

Lets see if they keep their word and want it back after the open climax maybe they buried the promise some where and put ashed on it

They said that not all shows end on a high and we left an open end and climax and HT said they will come back from where they ended , But after all these months and RS's interview says a difernt angle , so whats in store is to be seen
And the different plays other chanels due with their shows is noteworthy

Shanti, I read somewhere Colors is coming up with another two channels a youth based one and movie based one so more players in the market.

But still the giants will be up

See Star One its never on the charts for months

Now the revamp of star one to star desh next month SP wil push its new line up there I guess

Whatever SP 's shows are just over populated on the channel

The long players are the ones the viewers watch

These TRP's game have their own tune ever since Bidaai went of air
I hope the HT news is kept its word with SP since its SP's final cal as what it will want with the show like Bidaaii to return

shanti, i am glad sony is doing great, sp must be regretting their decession by now of axing bidaii, it always held its own against all this shows. hopefully they bring it back

GEC Watch: Star Plus scores 289 GRPs in Week 39

At No. 2, Sony Entertainment has seen a one-point dip in GRPs -- from 271 points to 270 points, but its relative share has gone up from 20.6 per cent to 21.3 per cent.

Still on top, Star Plus, the flagship Hindi GEC from the STAR stable, has scored 289 GRPs for the week, down from the 292 GRPs that the channel had scored in the previous week. The channel's relative share has however moved up from 22.2 per cent in Week 38, to 22.8 per cent for the week ended September 24, 2011, TAM, C&S4+, HSM.

At No. 2, Sony Entertainment has seen a one-point dip in GRPs -- from 271 points to 270 points, but its relative share has gone up from 20.6 per cent to 21.3 per cent.

At No. 3, Colors too, has lost in GRPs while its relative share remains stable at 16.7 per cent. Its GRPs have fallen from 219 GRPs to 211 GRPs in Week 39.

No. 4, Zee TV recorded GRPs of 176 GRPs (down from 184 GRPs in Week 38) and its relative share is 13.9 per cent (14 per cent in the previous week).

Sony entertainment's sibling channel, SAB TV, is at 123 GRPs (124 GRPs in Week 38), while its relative share is 9.7 per cent (9.4 per cent in the previous week).

At No. 6, Imagine TV is at 78 GRPs, up from 75 GRPs. Its relative share is also up from 5.7 per cent to 6.1 per cent.

STAR One, with 39 GRPs and a channel share of 3.1 per cent, follows it.

Sahara One is at No. 8. The channel's relative share and GRPs have moved up marginally to 2.6 per cent (2.4 per cent in the previous week), and 33 GRPs (31 GRPs in the previous week), respectively.

STAR Utsav and DD1 have garnered relative shares of 2.1 per cent and 1.4 per cent, respectively.

Saathiya Saath Nibhana (Star Plus) leads the list of the 10 most-watched programmes, clocking a TVR of 5.63, followed by Kaun Banega Crorepati (Sony) and Balika Vadhu (Colors), with TVRs of 5.6 and 4.25, respectively.

The fourth most-watched programme is Pavitra Rishta, with 4.07 TVR. Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (4.07 TVR) and C.I.D. (3.94 TVR) follow next. Uttaran, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Crime Patrol and Pratigya are also a part of the Top 10 list.

Starplus is not launching Survivor just yet, I feel a smart move it is launching Master Chef after Just dance. I feel Survivor will air after all the hype worthy reality shows end.
