Hi Guys ! First of all I would like to express my shock at how similar my last OS was to what actually happened in the beginning of today's episode, unlike my fictional character however, the real Arnav was unable to speak up and say he was going with them, although he did eventually find the courage to go! If you guys want PM's for updates, just like one of the OS's AND buddy me so I know for sure you want an update. Thank you! Pleasant reading 😊

Here is my next one, following the episode on Tuesday 27^th September:

Arnav stood by the poolside, clad in a deep pink sweater and trousers, staring into the space that surrounded him. He was sure he was going crazy. To say that he had felt uncomfortable in his own skin that day would have been the understatement of the century. Her eyes, brimming with tears as she told the story of her departed parents did not help him with the guilt he felt. He had made her hurt, he had made her cry. Not like he hadn't done that before, but it was different this time. This time, instead of wanting her to stop crying, to stop the flow of the saline droplets from her glossy eyes, he had wanted to wipe them away with his own hands. Remove the mark of her sorrow from her, so she was untouched by grief, untouched by misery and longing. He hit his hand in frustration against the glass in front of him. Why was he thinking like that again, it was exactly that sort of thing he had wanted to avoid, but the thought of her haunted him, peeling at his skin, clouding his vision, determined to drive him as crazy as one could be.

"Chote, what happened, I heard a.." she stopped speaking at the sight of her ever so controlled yet hot headed brother jump from the shock of her voice. She had clearly disrupted a very important track of thought.

He turned to find that his Di had reappeared by the door near the pool, alarmed by the sound of him slamming his fist onto glass, but not before he had flinched at the sound of her voice. He tried to cover up his alarm the best way he could; by resorting to an annoyed face.

"Sorry, sorry, Chote, sorry, I didn't mean to, I thought maybe you had hurt yourself, never mind, sorry" she mumbled.

Arnav, shocked at the use of the word so many times in a single sentence once again rolled his eyes and shook his hands to the skies in frustration. That word had given him hell that day, he did not wish to hear of it for atleast a few months. He made a show of behaving frustrated and annoyed, not without comedic effect for the benefit of his Di, who he knew would worry if he acted too distant.

"I really am going crazy" he announced, more for his sister to hear so she could tell from his tone that he was ok "I am going to leave you to yourself, and your apologising ways" he continued, expressing his annoyance in a wave of flashy hand movements.

Anjali chuckled at her brother clearly having a confusing day, and watched him wave his arms around at her and roll his eyes and he slumped off up the stairs towards his room.

"Sorry.." he mumbled "I hate you so much, you are by far the most stupid word to have ever been invented" His thoughts continued as he ascended the stairs. I did say it though, he smirked to himself, or did he? The smirk disappeared as quickly as it had come. Did he apologise? He stopped walking and stood for a moment, one foot on a higher step than the other. Every time he thought back to the moment out in the garden at the party, he could only recall a tearful Khushi, her eyes, her lips, the wind in her flyaway hair, her skin, her beauty, her grief. What had he been doing all that while? No, he did recall saying it, once. He took a single step as though he was counting and stood still for a moment. Twice, he thought, as he cautiously took another step. Yes, he had said it again. He paused, for longer this time, thinking back to the moment. Three times, yes, three times was it! He reaffirmed this with a third step and stood still for a while longer. He had said he was really sorry the last time, and shivered as the thought of his shaking voice came rushing back to him. Tomorrow was another day, he thought to himself as he slowly returned back to reality and continued his walk up the stairs, tomorrow was another day.

Anjali watched her brother start up the stairs, then slow down. She had almost run over to him as she thought he was having a head rush but stopped herself as she watched him pause, then take three, very slow, very cautious steps. By this time she was grinning ear to ear, her eyes alight with amusement. As she watched him carefully resume his pace after what appeared to be a very thoughtful experience, she turned on her heel, and smiled even wider. It had not skipped her mind that the day that her brother had suddenly started acting like an alien from another planet who did not understand the mechanism of stair climbing had happened to be the same day that Khushi had decided to not come in for work. She thought back to their breakfast table discussion. She had known her brother for longer than anyone, and it wasn't every day you saw him stutter and search for words as his forehead perspired, it wasn't every day that he flinched at every single noise or touch or get all confused and distant at the slightest of words. It wasn't everyday that Mr Arnav Singh Raizada lost his way, but she wasn't worried at all, because she knew that he would soon find the light at the end of the tunnel.

WOW! lovley! i think its now khushi to forgive him.

LOVED IT!!! Awesome!!! I hope the real Anjali wakes up and smells the burning pom poms that are self combusting due go supersede Arhi passion!!
