Type 2 diabetes is now common in obese or overweight young adults and teenager but it does develope later on during childhood. Arnav is not overweight and looks like he has healthy lifestyle, so he must have type 1 diabetes which is insulin dependent. He needs to eat regularly cannot skip meals or keep fast.

u dont need to inject insulin to show he's down with diabetes but there will be a day that kushi saves him a for a change... let's wait & watch!

I am not sure what made you think like this but you are not fully correct. A person with type 2 diabetes can be treated with diet and exercise and insulin is used if the the first option does not work. However some one with type 1 diabetes must be treated with insulin. Most juveniles have type 1 diabetes and they are treated with insulin.

Very less young people have type 2 diabetes. As arnav has a very fit lifestyle it would be unrealistic and downright rude for him to have type 2 diabetes.
