Arnav and diabetes

I was really excited in the beginning when they showed Arnav had diabetes (as usually they only show oldies with this condition). But I am annoyed now the only way they refer to his diabetes is by showing sugar free tea or sugar free jalebi 😡 I was hoping they would expand by showing him perhaps injecting himself with insulin and may be even suffer from hypoglycaemia. So many young people suffer from diabetes and this would be realistic. I am so angry with the cvs that i cannot express my anger properly! I am so NOT HAPPY, infact I am hurt Is any one in contact with any one from the IPKKND team? Please convey my annoyance to them.

i think later they will show something like that...when no body is home and khushi helps him out...

insulin is only usef to treat last astage odf diabetes and juvinile diabetes is not insulin dependent ..so diet control and physical fitness seem more appropriate=D

There are two types of diabetes, and not both o0f them are dependent on insulin. Only one of them is!

Diabetes in young people will be mainly insulin dependant.

So inorder to make the fact of him being diabetic realistic, they have to show him taking insulin SC injections

not necessarily, there are cases of Type 2 Diabetes, or the non insulin dependent one, in young adults. Mainly due to unhealthy lifestyles, not proper nutrition intakes, not proeper excersice, there are loads of reasons.

Type2 diabetes mellitus is mainly lifestyle based, it is more prone in obese individuals with more fat deposition in abdominal area, another reason is genetics. Its treatment is taking oral hypoglycemic agents and later even insulin therapy, it can be controlled in earlier stages by diet control.

It is possible, but it will be more realistic if they had showed him of having Type1 diabetes mellitus
