She's got two movie offers already!
T'town might have a new leading lady - Paris Hilton says she has received two Bollywood offers and adds that she is open to working in the Hindi film industry, provided she gets suitable scripts.
"I have been approached to do two Bollywood films. But I am not keen on them. However, if a good script comes up, I am willing to do it. Bollywood films are beautiful, I love the clothes in them," said the heiress who arrived in Mumbai early Saturday (September 24) morning.
Paris later got a taste of Bollywood at a party organised by Indian socialite Queenie. Guests at the bash at the J W Marriott included Bipasha Basu, Kangna Ranaut, Sushmita Sen and Mandira Bedi.
But several big names from the Hindi film industry, who were invited to Paris' welcome party, couldn't make it. Sonakshi Sinha, Imran Khan, Arjun Rampal, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Abhay Deol and Dino Morea were among those who didn't show up.
Sonakshi had tweeted: "Off to shoot 'Rowdy Rathore' tonight. Will have to skip seeing Paris in Mumbai."
Paris looked her glamorous best in a short silver dress and diamond earrings and said that she enjoyed the party.
"Had the best time at my party last night! Met so many amazing people! The women in India are so exotic & gorgeous," she tweeted.
The socialite was in the city to launch her line of bags, but there's a lot more on her mind during her short trip.
"I am here right now for business. I wanted to do much more but there's no time during this trip," said Paris, who unveiled her collection at a media gathering.
However, she does not want to miss taking back "good memories" along with "Indian saris, bindis and jewellery".
A yoga enthusiast, Hilton sported a sari for the cover shoot of an Indian fashion magazine recently, and says she adored the garment.
"I am very inspired by Indian designers. I recently shot for the cover of Marie Claire India in a sari designed by Rocky S. He is an incredible designer. I am sure I am going to wear a sari back in the US as well," she said.
