Part-18:

Mayank and nupur are continuously working since a week for the project and were very busing during the same. They didn't even have time to spend with each other. But they don't have any complaints about it, in fact they completely involved in completing the project and they didn't thought about spending time. Finally, it's the last day of their project and today it's the presentation time. Mayank was much tensed about it. It's the first time he is working alone on any project. Earlier either samrat or his dad used to help him but this time as both of them were involved in their respective works mayank had to handle the project all alone. But this time he is happy because nupur is beside him. Though she personally can't help in the necessary information or presentation or any other work which he has to do but she surely can give him the enough confidence which he badly needs and that's what she did during the whole project. Boosting him with enough confidence and giving inspiring, motivating speeches whenever they were needed.

"nupur, can you please arrange the soft copies of the plan in the conference room?" said he.

"Of course, I will do it and don't get tensed. I am sure you can handle it all alone and you can definitely get this project. Now just relax for some time." She took some necessary files and papers and moved towards the door. "Aur haan, be on time. Don't be late" she gave an assuring smile and moved out of the cabin. She soon bumped into someone as soon as she got out and it was none other than sameera.

"Didn't I tell you to stay away from mayank? Don't try to get close to him. And there's no need to give so called assurance. You get that?" she casted an angry glare to her and again ordered "now, get back to work". She moved from there. "Oh god!! This woman is getting on my nerves... She got spared because I don't have time to fight with her." She thought.

"I did it!! Nupur, I did it! I am so happy nupur…" he instantly hugged her tight without thinking about the surroundings. At first nupur became shocked at his sudden hug and was a bit hesitated to hug him back as they were in office and some of the employees were staring at them awkwardly. Feeling his excitement and happiness she couldn't hold back herself and hugged him back. As she did that, an adorable smile crept up on her lips showing the contentment on her face. Both were unaware of the fact that they were being spied by unwanted eyes, those eyes which are burning with envy. Mayank who was on heavens was not at all in a mood to leave her and he increased the grip on her whereas nupur started feeling embarrassed. "mayank, sab log dekh rahe hai" she whispered in his ear making him to land on earth. With a frown on his face, he left her but signaled her to come to his cabin. As mayank hugged her in front of the whole staff, silence prevailed in the surroundings.

Mayank went to his cabin and was waiting for nupur to enter. Just when nupur was about to enter the cabin, mayank's dad came into the picture and stopped her from entering. "nupur beta, you and mayank have done a wonderful job. I appreciate your work. I am so happy beta" to which she smiled simply. "acha beta, come to my cabin. We have a party tonight on behalf of the deal and I need to give the details about the preparations." He smiled and left. Mayank witnessed the complete picture from his cabin and made a disappointed face. Nupur directly went to Mr.sharma's cabin and collected all the details and all the papers. She is walking arranging the papers in order so as to not to get confused later on. "1, 2, 3 and and arey, where is the fourth file? God!! I might have forgotten there" she turned around to go back. "Hmmm, okay now lets check the rest of them. 5, 6 and ahhh………" her counting stopped as she was pulled by a strong arm into a dark room and pinned to the wall. The arm came near her mouth and closed her mouth asking not to scream. "Sshh… don't, it's me mayank" he whispered in her ear and she stopped struggling.

"aap? Ye aap kya kar rahe ho?"

"main? Kya kar raha hu main? He asked with a smirk on his face.

"mayank, please… mujhe bohut kaam hai"

"tho?"

"mujhe jaana hai" she said looking into his eyes.

"tumne mujhe congragulate bhi nahi kiya" he said making a puppy face.

"kiya tho tha" maintaining the voice low, she lowered her eyes.

"kab kiya?" he asked trying to recollect when did she wish him.

"woh… woh… "

"woh hug?? Arey woh tho maine kiya tha and you didn't even let me h-"

"mujhe jaana hai" she immediately cut him short and started moving away from him.

His hand moved to her waist and in no time she bumped into his chest.

"nupur" she looked into his eyes.

"tum mujhse itna darthi kyun ho?" he asked making her confuse.

"huh? Main?... main..kaha… darthi hu?" she retorted back trying to be strong.

"acha?, tho tum mujhse darthi nahi ho, right?"

"haan" she said firmly

"abhi?" he asked pulling her close and placing his other palm on her cheek.

"nahi" she said with a whisper.

"abhi" he whispered inching towards her cheeks.

She just pushed him with her hand which was lying on his chest and glared at him.

"kya hua?" he asked controlling his smile and maintaining a stern face.

"aap… aap na mazaak karna bandh karo aur kaam shuru karo, bohut badmaash hogaye aaj kal" she just blurted out and he is just listening to her calmly crossing his hands across his chest.

"ab aisa kyu dekh rahe hai mujhe" she asked unable to comprehend his expression.

He took all the papers which fell on ground when he pulled her and adjusted all them together and went towards her to give them back to her.

"ye lo" he said forwarding the papers to her.

She forwarded her hand to take them and mayank caught her hand and pulled her towards himself.

"tumhe act karna bilkul nahi aata hai. So, kabhi try mat karna" he slowly said staring into her eyes and kissed her cheek. He is enjoying her blush and thought to tease her a bit more.

"aur kya?" she looked at him being perplexed. "aur ek kiss chahiye kya?" he asked moving his face closer. She widened her eyes at his unexpected question.

"aap na –"

"bohut handsome hu, mujhe pata hai. No need to mentionit again, but if you insist you can"

"ji nahi, aap bohut irritating ho"

"uhu.. Sweetheart, you need to learn some ethics. You should not call your boyfriend irritating. Especially when your bf is so romantic, sweet, hot, handsome, charming, caring, …… tring tring—"

Nupur giggled at the ring of the phone and he glared at her asking not to make fun of him.

"samrat!!" he sighed seeing the caller's number "wrong time! Everytime!" he picked the call scolding his brother's timing.

"Bolo sam"

"Congrats bro!! You've done it"

"Not yet dude… you didn't let me" he said in an irritated tone whereas nupur glared at him at his retort

"What?? What didn't I let you do?" asked a confused samrat.

"I mean, I still have to arrange a success party and I am in preparations. So I've told that" he tried to cover it up while nupur tried to slip from his grip but in no time he caught her again and increased his grip over her waist.

"Okay, then lets meet in the party" sam said unable to understand his brother's taunt and nupur trying out to escape by making puppy faces.

"Ok then bye" mayank heaved a sigh of relief.

"Wait wait…" this irritated mayank to the core and moved a little closer to nupur in order to calm down her attempts of escaping.

"Speak up"

"How's bhabhi?" He asked in a teasing tone.

"Meet you at the party… bye" said mayank and disconnected the call.

"Why do you even try when you know that you can't and I won't let you do it" he asked in a husky tone.

"mayank, please… I've got loads and loads of work to complete." She pouted.

"Give me my daily dose and I'll set you free" he said as a matter of fact and forwarded towards her lips. She turned his face and gave a peck on his cheek and said "not until marriage"

"don't you think that it's too late?"

"not at all"

"unromantic creature"

"thank you" she said smilingly and started walking towards the door and he immediately pulled her and kissed her cheek. "thank you" said he and left the room leaving a smiling nupur behind.

I am so sorry for being tooo late. And ya this part is just filler because I lost the grip of the story and I'll try to make it good in the coming updates.

I am really sad and in tears for what has happened with ria di..😭😭
May your soul rest in peace dii...
I am still unable to digest the fact that she isn't there with us..
I just wish that god should provide enough strength for her family.
