Almost all of this sounds so contrived and typical. The books, the movies, the slow music, the French food, and the "romantic" trip to Paris all seem so forced to create a certain image. I guess it's possible that she really does love these things, but one day I would like to hear something more original from all of these celebs (not happening, I know šŸ˜†).

Plus she was so cute in CSL and so amazing in The Help! I'm a die hard fan now!!

Damon looks sexy in everything and nothing!!šŸ˜‰ā˜ŗļø

My fav scenes are with him in the shower...Ian wet is yum-my!😳

Yes the film with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens is the best adaptation for me... especially the way Jane was portrayed!! She def deserved that Golden Globe nomination!

I still have to see CSL...the promo looked just SOOO cute with her and Ryan Gosling!
I never saw that adaptation so I'll take your word for it...I recently saw the BBC version of P&P and I loved it! Colin Firth was just an exceptional DarcyšŸ˜›

...as for Damon...SIGHšŸ˜šŸ˜†...I love it when he's looking indecentšŸ˜†

@kool: yes...that P&P is my fav...I didn't care for the Keira one. But Colin Firth is just so smooth. I'm pretty sure Sonam probably watched all the "modern" day adaptations. Like for Aisha, I doubt she read the book--probably rented Clueless one week-end and decided Emma was a shallow persona with "flaws"!🤪

Do watch it when you get a chance. BTW: Have you seen Gone With the Wind...I know you love the book, I saw it Labor week-end and thought of you. Damn, it was so good. I read the sequel too--not actually perfect, but not bad!

LOL she probably didšŸ˜†...

I like both versions actually...I love the Keira one because of the way it was directed and the way the whole set and scenery were depicted, the juxtaposition looked beautiful to me...and I loved the miniseries because it stayed more true to the novel I think

Yep I've seen Gone with the Wind...Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable were just excellent IMO😃...are you talking about the Scarlett Sequel? Now that was utter trash...gosh I don't even know where to begin for my dislike of that...and the miniseries was even more bizarre...šŸ˜†

French food sucks - its like she read some magazine like Cosmo Us edition and rattled off the answers šŸ˜†
Sonam darling we will still love you even tho you are a ditzy bimbo - you dont have to try so hard to prove that you are an intelligent actress.

I hope I am not alone in thinking that reading - if she's even done that - Austen and Gone with the Wind among others isn't a sign of superior intelligence either?

What is intelligence? Are we talking about book smart- math, science smart? Writer, painter, artsy smart? Street smart? Someone who is aware of happenings around the planet? Saying stupid things or W*F stuff does not always mean you are dumb...reading classics also does not make anyone super smart...if an actor has to give some dumb interviews and act as love guru what the heck are they supposed to say especially when they don't have much experience! LOL! Sonam is inexperienced more than anything else...when she is around 35 and acts as love guru (when noone will really ask her to give such an interview), you may hear something different! at 26, she is pretty wise I have to say!

Btw I don't know if she actually reads these books or truly likes them...your guess is as good as mine.

That's a bit judgmental don't you think? Some of the smartest people on this planet are college drop outs šŸ˜† So completing a degree does not equal to being smart or intelligent. Why does one have to be dumb (which I believe no one is...everyone is intelligent in what they do) to want to be an actress or wanting to sell their face if that is what they want to do? šŸ˜• I might even be a po*n star... but I still may love Jane Austen!

But I think I know where all this comment is coming from...in our desi land it hardly is the case that you are an actress if you are bookish!
