MUMBAI: censored.com's😆 New Talent Awards 2011 is back in its fourth edition to recognize and applaud the fresh new talent in the music, film and television industry.
Apart from felicitating the Television debutants, the star-studded award ceremony has grown even bigger and better this year with the introduction of two new categories (Films and Music).
The awards will reward excellence in performances by those making their debut between 1 April 2010-31 May 2011, across 30 categories in films, television and music.
The music awards introduced, consists of four categories including Best New Singing Talent (Male), Best New Singing Talent (Female), Best New Music Composer and Best New Lyricist. To name a few, debut singers including Tarun Sagar ' 'Oh Girl You'Re Mine' (Housefull), Lehmber Hussainpuri ' 'Sadi Gali' (Tanu Weds Manu), Mamta Sharma ' 'Munni Badnaam' (Dabangg), lyricists includes Bhadwai Village Mandal ''Mehngai Dayain'(Peepli [Live]), Late Jagdish Joshi & Vibhu Puri- Keh Na Saku(Guzaarish), and composers like Hanif Sheikh ' 'Aye Khuda' (Paathshala), Luv Ranjan - Kutta (Pyaar Ka Punchnama) and Shirish Kunder - Tees Maar Khan (Tees Maar Khan)have been nominated.
The award Ceremony will see power packed performances from some of the most popular names of music and the television industry including Hard Kaur, Anoushka Manchanda, Meiyang Chang, Himesh Reshammiya, Jaqueline Fernandes, Anushka Sharma, and others. Ranveer Singh, Ragini Khanna and Meiyang Chang are the host of the evening.
The ground event is scheduled to be held on Friday 16 September at Mehboob studios, Bandra. The awards will be telecast on Colors.
