why kastur is not educated?

why did they stop kastur's education with 9thstd 😕 ... she has parents ,she has money ,then y is it so 😕 ... or is she that dull student ,she not even crossed 9th or 10th std to reach next level😕 😆 ... is that the reason kastur's family financed for mohan's pg at london ,since they wanted a big fish from matrimonial market which for them obviously not easy to find for their 9th std kastur 😆 .. (on a sidenote...did baapji wanted mohan to hold a mba degree from london university for doing his masala business 🤣 which he and mohan's dad are doing it without any mba 😆 )
are they promoting only less educated girls can be dhrampatnis 🤢 like some of the other shows doing it in other channels 🤢
poor mohan 😆 ..if kastur is not the protagonist then i would have strongly rooted for mohan to snub kastur's family and his baapji 😡 by throwing away their money at their faces 😡 ,though i dnt blame kastur for loving mohan who had been constantly fed with "mohan is her fiancee" by her family 😔...but unfortunately baapji and kastur's family will be the winners and mohan and his mom will be proved wrong 🤢 *pity* ... *totally lost interest after seeing this track*

(i think mohan and kastur's story will be very much similar to gopi and ahem's love story of sns on star plus 😆)

This is one part i don't get either ... why couldn't she be educated and still a good "dharampatni" why she had to be only 9th grader and then be a good dharampatni?

It was pointed by Mohan's mother a few episodes back that where is the girl who struggled to pass thru 9th class and where is my son who did his MBA in Londona

so that means she shud ahve been a very dull student n would ahve opted out of studying further.

Jitu did not finance Mohan with the hopes of a matrimonial match. Bhanu got the loan from Jitu. When Baapji came to know, he was angry at Mohan going abroad, and also at his family owing money. Baapji offered Jitu the papers to his masaala shop. But Jitu refused the papers, saying it can be paid back as the Galas were the able to pay back, and that Bhanu is a friend of his and he had known Mohan as a child.

Baapji then brings up the match. Jitu was pretty wary. He pointed out they were just kids, and said Kastur would have to agree and that as they grew up they may change their minds. Baapji of course paid this no mind.

What happened within those four years is just speculation. Since the match was still on when talking to Baapji and Bhanu, the Desais probably assumed Mohan knew about it as well.

Baapji did not want Mohan to go to London. Saroj sent Mohan to London without Baapji's knowledge in hopes of Mohan being able to break free from Baapji. And baapji also belittled college to Mohan's younger brother as he was going to college, asking him whether college would teach him anything about masaalas.

This I agree with. And i find it weird that she stopped in the 9th standard. Unless the heroine is from a very, very rural setting, or is from a poor, lower class circumstance, the 'uneducated' heroines usually finish at least their 10th standard. It's usually that they are not university educated.

'Dharampatni' bothers me. We'll see how the show goes. But if we see Kastur taking all the revelations without anger or lashing out, but just expresses how it is now her 'duty' to still love her husband and make the best of him, I will retch. Sure she should try to make the best, but not just because she is being the dutiful wife. If anything, I'd rather she do it also for her own well being, because she has to, and she has to turn these circumstances around.

Again, the Desais didn't manipulate or force Mohan. They didn't know that this was being kept a secret by Bhanu and Baapji from the rest of the Galas. If they knew that Mohan was being forced by Baapji to either marry Kastur of pay back the money, they would no doubt call off the wedding.

But, Mohan doesn't know all of this. All he hears is what Saroj tells him, and Baapji's words. So he doesn't really think anything through. He just reacts at this big sudden news.

Baapji better not be proven right. I do worry about it sometimes because of all of Mohan's issues. But the show makes sure to give Mohan and Saroj great lines against Baapji. Even Kastur's Baa talks against Baapji's regressive ways.

We all desperately want to know why Kastur stops her studies and it better be a good reason.

On one side CVs show the girl to be a proud gujrati and on the other side they are stereotyping her as gujju by making her just 9th pass (or fail). Not a good way to promote the gujjuness... Atleast make the show in such a way that girls who are seeing it learn something from it. N not the leave school at 9th grade lvl n excel in being DP.Digusting...
