Sanam,
TUMThis is my favourite vm by you so far AND yes I know I say or at least think that, every time. š³ This was just mesmerizingly beautiful to watch. The careful colouring captivated me and was outstanding and just electric!
I loved the manner you illuminated those golden tones in the opening scenes, brightening images against those black background, very enticing and captivating. I loved how you edited @0:04 an actual writhe accentuating the unseen one, enhanced by that contorted guitar string. Excellent! I loved the song selection, for that beginning instrumental portion with those strings, tugging upon their hearts, that you edit to accentuate is wonderfully done. That lull then you bring in that first
tum a long and lingering moment to emphasize that new centre to his world.
I loved, just loved that moment you chose for
na miley @0:38, as she passes him by and that forlorn look of his,
aur mein kho gaya..then that powerful edit, @0:42 as that erratic music flows into an intense out pouring of emotions which you choreograph perfectly with that impactful contrast, his still pose, that mournful face, forsaken even to his own self. Sanam, excellently done!
I loved, JUST LOVED your edit of her beautiful face @0:50,
tum...beginning that reminisce, that haunting beauty that torments him now. Finely done! I loved, JUST LOVED that precise editing, so @ 0:51 we have
baahon and his closeness
and @ 0:54
aa na saake...Sanam, just flawless! I loved how you lingered upon that scene for that lull in the song, for they too seem shaken into stillness in the aftermath of that fierceness, nicely accentuated.
Then you bring in that next chapter,
tum @1:17, a different aspect of his admiration as ignited by a different
jhalak of hers, nicely done. I loved the editing of that portion from 1:37, that jump @1:38, as though she is being ripped away from him, then @1:39, as you bring her into focus contrasting against that
mere khwabon se jaa na sake...finely done.
I loved, JUST LOVED, that moment @1:47
baahon mein aa na sake as he looks at her hurt, her disdain at another's closeness, when all the while all he wanted what her closeness. Beautiful underscoring of the inherent cruelty of that moment. Beautifully done.
I loved the choreography and editing for that jolt in the song for their collision @1:54 Those ominous strings and her scornful expression, creating an electric ambiance. Excellently done, Sanam.
I loved that moment @2:54, really cute, Excellently choreographed!
I loved, JUST LOVED that final shot, @3:26 as the singer returns to that soft whisper, and their closeness as he holds her ever closer, she looks away, and he never lets his gaze drift away,
kyun ho gaya...as though he is searching for answers in the deepest part of her soul.
The final shot of Khushi and his scene I felt didn't really fit with the whole BUT I understand that maybe you needed to add something to complete the lyric. Regardless, this was outstanding AND I know I say that every time BUT I mean it every time too. š³
