I feel both Jai and Roshni were responsible for Bani's mom passing away. Jai being rich, would have bribed Bani's father with some money. Bani's father would have spent all the money drinking and thinking about his wife. Thats why Bani's father asked the girls to go to Jai Wallai for help when he was dying.

What bugs me is that even if Bani's Mom got killed by Jai and Roshni then why does he care if Bani finds out. Jai doesn't give a damn about Bani.
Or is he worried about his reputation and jail time....

but didn't bani mom die becuz of an illness becuz i remember bani talking to rano abt there parents.she mentioned her mom's illness.
