Is Shikha being unfairly treated?

After watching today's and yesterday's episodes, I can't help feeling sorry for Shikha. What is the big deal if she called her friends home for a kitty party? She could have taken permission; but the way Santosh shouted at her and insulted her in front of her friends was too much. Is giving respect to guests and NOT washing your household dirty linen before them excluded from Santosh's definition of Maryada and Niyam?

Today they went too far. The "punishment" they came up with was laughable. Do they really think leading a sattvik jeevan for 7 days will reform Shikha? Won't it rather create further resentment and desire for vengeance in her? Have either Santosh or Dadi, just once, sat down with her and LOVINGLY explained to her where lines must be drawn? I don't blame Shikha and Komal when they accuse Santosh of being biased. The only big mistake they are making is in blaming Sarika for all this.

I think every women in this show is suffering...

I actually just loathe Santosh. I don't blame Shikha & Komal @ all for being negative towards Sarika, although her anger should be directed more @ her MIL.

It'll be Rose Day and Sarika is supposed to go to campus in Western dress - didn't get whether it means a skirt or whether it could include going in jeans and a t-shirt, but the way the promos are talking about the family maryada makes me want to enter the TV set and kick Santosh in her groins. 😡 Nobody is asking Sarika to be in bikinis, and just like one doesn't need to wear Western clothes all the time, one doesn't need to wear saris and ghoonghats all the time either.

In Komal's case, she should just tell her hubby to sever ties w/ her maayka, and tell Santosh to keep her distance - she's the PAST!!! For Shikha, she has Chandan supporting her - she should now press him to leave the house w/ her, and move to a home where she has all the freedoms that he approves of, not something that this stupid saas has in mind.

i dont like how women have been protrayed how the men sat on the chairs and the wifes on the floor like wth!. Or the women cant go anywhere without their husbands etc. Silly!!

the prob is evry1 is towards d extreme side... santosh is extreme in the maryada & all stuff whereas shikha & komal are extreme in not using their brains @ all in differentiating between thngs... there's like way loadz of difference in doing modelling & studying med... also shikha was wrong by frstly nt asking santosh 4 d kitty party & scndly playing cards... now sarika is not studyin med widout santosh's permission... y cant komal & shikha jus use dere brains...

i wud say all woman hav been treated unfairly inc shikha's mother in law... her n garima wntd 2 study n wer passionate abt it as much as sarika was bt unfortunately they werent given the chance, while sarika was... i feel thts unfair...i no the times 4 thm 2 hav gne n nw nothing can b dne abt it, bt it doesnt change the fact tht santosh n dadi esp dadi has a soft corner for sarika n always supports her mre than others...no wonder shikha n komal dnt like sarika nemre... personally i no the story revolves around sarika n jai bt 2 me der marriage shud nt hav happened, and it will cause problems for da entire family in da long run...simply becos da decision of letting sarika go 2 college is the starting point 2 future problems...the chacha's worry n concerns wil defo turn out 2 b tru in da future n we wil c him turn around n say "i tld u bk thn 2 nt let her go 2 college, bt u all didn't listen 2 me, nw bare the consequences"...---i can jus c tht happening.

After today episode I can easily say that the punishment is fair...I have noticed from previous episodes that she has always to say something that is not appropriate with situations.Today episode she is smiling when maasa was scolding Sarika.That's not good..I know she can't do what she wants to do but I don't understand why she hates Sarika..😒
