Agreed that he was fav of Raj purohit, thn he shud have made the will or told Mahant tht only Dev will light my pyre..it was simple...and one more thing GD is Dev's uncle or chacha...if the father dies elder brother is looked upon as father...same thing if father dies chacha is looked upon as father...Dev cannot take the rights of GD..he shud have told Mahant that it is the Duty of GD being an eldest son, thn if GD had told Dev to perform it was correct...Dev as a future RP shud have known this...
Emotions are secondary thing when it is about Dharma..one cannot snatch the right of others is also a dharma and this is what it was shown..yes Cvs did stupid thing and they are totally ignorant about Hinduism..

Raj, you're right entirely.

Now, am wondering about the highlighted line. You have said it in the right context. But was wondering it in the Purohit's context.

These Purohit's have always held dharm (supposedly) above all emotions right? that is why, they are asking Dev to get remarried in front of Radhika. Won't Radhika feel hurt? Is she a stone or what? Everyone is expecting her to sacrifice...and the girl's shoulder's are stooping down because of the weight. No one sees that...and keep chanting their version of dharm! So if dharm is so precious, how are they neglecting simple issues like...giving GD the right to light the pyre, not to have marriages and auspicious events during mourning period? Doesn't this come under the RP rules? Are RP rules different than the ones for everyone else?

CV's should be vigilant enough to think how a normal person will come across the solutions when there is a problem, and make the show more interesting,

I agree with you completely. Well, we all understand that CB is just a serial and can take some liberties. Things need not be as real as in actual life. But these sort of rituals should not be played along with. People don't hold marriages and auspicious events during the mourning period. Infact as i mentioned earlier, glaring bloopers are seen in these episodes of mourning. Although certain intricate details are kept in mind, larger much common details are being messed up with.

Any common man watching this kind of manhandling of rituals would feel odd. A person need not hail from RP family to understand simple rules of observing mourning period. Any show needs some amount of reality attached to it, so as to attract audience. If people feel everything to be so artificial, audience would drift away. Am not harping or nit picking, but mostly people in TVpur do keep in mind certain facts attached to these kinds of rituals

Sia tell me which of the RP family member knows about Dharma or rituals?..Dev is groomed as a future RP and he had been with DDjee since childhood, doesnt he know this simple thing that eldest son is suppose to lit the pyre..what a crude joke..
GD is as dumb as tom n jerry cartoon, but still being a only son of RP, he shud have been given the chance...if everything Dev and Radhika will do thn wahts the point of showing Raj Purohit family?..or what is the point of showing a big family..Dev the only son and same thing with Radhika atleast this way they can do everything...
RP told infront of everyone about Hari and his two wives katha and even both of them pregnant at same time..and their Image dint got beating or tarnished?...but Dev married Radhika and whole RP family is trembling and shaking in fear of society's reaction...
The biggest blunder whole family including Radhika is making by forcing Dev to marry Barkha...in future when this topic will be exposed, these dumb RP family doesnt want to think about it...that time their name wont tarnished?...
It is a pathetic and simply very poor and weak script ever written without a basic knowledge of Hindus traditions and rituals...
Yes RP family is above and EXCLUSIVE and they can do anything cos they have the GREEN CARD to do anything, anytime..thats why Hari can marry twice, Hari can have two wives Preg at same time, Padma being a illegal wife can stay in the house, but Radhika officially married cannot stay what a stupid and idiot RP thinking, BB gives push or kick to RP in the name of RPship, Rohan can flirt with every girl he sees as if she is his property, Virat steals from RP funds or misuse it, Mohini is worried about her looks and beauty, GD is a big burden on earth and finally RP less said better about this Adharmi..who ruined many lives...so you saw the difference between a common man and RP family..they are above of everything...isliye toh RP hain..

Sia it is very simple the CVs shud not have shown same RP story, they cudhv shown any other family, but if they want only RP, thn they shudhv done the homework and shown all the rituals in authentic way, rather this nonsense is going on...
Any common man will be hurt when these CVs represent the pious rituals of hinduism in a wrong way...be a chanting of mantras or performing the rituals, nothing is shown in right way...the worst thing was Radhika's chanting of mantras, she brutally gave the new meaning to the shlokas and mantras...these things hurt the viewers and you are correct that audinece will surely drift away..being the story of Raj Purohits the spiritual head of society and nothing is shown in correct way...
