GANGA aka SANA SHEIKH
During monsoons, I used to love going to school as it meant taking a BEST bus and getting wet. As a kid I would love playing in the rain. From 5th std, I began going alone to school from Mahim to Bandra in a local bus. I studied in a girls convent school who were very strict and didn't allow me to work as a child actor- even on weekends. It was good and bad as my studies didn't suffer in the few assignments that I did take up but later when they totally refused to let me work, I lost on some good projects. The teachers were very strict and never smiled which I feel they should. Teachers should be friendly and approachable. I totally related to Stanley Ka Dabba film when I saw it. But I have to say I learnt a lot from the school about being independent, confident and making a choice in life.
