Hey CBians. I know it is a bit late to be discussing Friday's epi but I am doing it anyway. 😆
Anyway the scene where dev and dadaji are talking to the stars really annoyed me. dadaji was completely wrong in what he said. In this world, people hardly take 'the road less traveled' meaning the path in life where dharma prevails. So the star that was alone to me represented Dev. he took the road less traveled that had the obstacles but was the right one. if her were with the other stars he would just be a follower.

just had to express this. don't know if anyone else has the same opinion.
but I feel dadaji said the wrong thing.

DDjee wanted to instill qualities necessary for the RP in Dev. Dev had them, but had to be nurtured carefully. I guess, he wanted Dev to be social and shouldn't take a lone path.

However, i do agree, that DDjee was slightly wrong. As u said, taking a righteous path is often difficult and going along with the wrong, just because it would keep our image good in the society is easy. That's what DDjee did. He chose the 2nd option. Instead of taking the route to righteousness (which is the real duty of a RP) he chose to hide the truth and took refuge in the peacefulness of lies/deceit. Had he revealed Chaya-Hari's wedding to everyone, all this mess wouldnt have been created. All he had to do was to deny Padma's parents...asking for forgiveness. They would have felt hurt...might have even accused him for hurting their daughter's emotions...but atleast DDjee would have been saved from bigger problems that have come up today...atleast Padma's life would have not been ruined...nor Chaya's nor RaDev's or Rohan's. Infact even Barkha's! His one lie to keep his image intact in front of the society cost him his life!

Dev should perceive what's righteousness in his own way. No harm in being lone until you're with the right. DDjee never protected dharam, he only protected his image. Dev should think more of the right, otherwise how can he set an example?
