"I do not care about that b****'we need to find the heir before somebody else does" Mrinalini screamed angrily at T , her half-scarred face looking even more monstrous.
"Yeah right'.try going out with that sorry-excuse for a face'the heir will surely come running to you" T scoffed back.
Mrinalini lost her cool and pounced on T. With a flick of her newly manicured finger T sent Mrinalini flying into the air. She crashed into the fire place a few feet away.
"Aha'now you look perfect'.covered in soot as you are'.listen my darling leech I promised you I will find the heir for you'and WE (stressing the word) will open the tomb'.until then you are not getting your pretty face back" T said with finality.
"T please, If you mend my face I can help you to find the heir" Mrinalini said sweetly.

Mrinalini grinded her teeth. This bimbo was always four steps ahead of her. If it weren't for the fact that magic was necessary element in her quest she would never have taken help from T.

"Do not give me that crap Mr.Shyam'.I told you I want the report means I want it'do you wish to be fired" Panchi ranted at an irritated Mr. Shyam. He hated women in power. Panchi knew this very well and had decided to teach him better.
"Get the report here within an hour or else please show yourself the way out" she said with finality.
Shyam gave a brisk nod before walking out.
"I hate it when they do that" she muttered angrily.
The land phone rang.
"Yes Simran" Panchi said shortly while surfing through documents on her laptop.
"Ma'am'there is Mr. Raichnadh here to meet you" her secretary informed.
"Abhay? (Looks surprised)'sent him in" Panchi said shortly and cut the call.
"You can go in sir" Simran said to the handsome light green eyed man standing in front of her. She couldn't quiet hide her ogling.
"Thank you honey" Siddarth said with his classic smirk.
Panchi who was busy with a file snapped up when the very familiar aroma blasted her nostrils. Her black haired head whipped up and her pupils dilated first in shocked surprise which was quickly replaced by fury.
"Hello Birdie" Siddarth said with a disarming smile. Only it had no effect on Panchi.
"Get the hell out of here Raichandh" Panchi said controlling her anger.
"Whoa! Is this the way prospective partners are invited in Dobriyal Enterprise'.shameful dear'.didn't you learn anything from me Panchi" Siddarh asked without loosing his attitude.
"Off course I did Mr. Raichandh" Panchi said coming to stand in front of Siddharth "which is why I am throwing you out'..in DE we can recognize unwanted people by site" she retorted back.
Siddarth could easily sense something different about this Panchi. She had a renewed attitude and special aura. The Panchi he had ditched an year ago was strong headed and rooted to her values. It had taken him nearly an year to get her affections. Siddarth had taken it as a challenge and as such had very much enjoyed breaking her heart, though he regretted it now. He had slept with her to add an edge to the heart break. But now he regretted that the most. He would have to work all the more hard to get her apology. He knew that a girl like Panchi would never allow another man to enter her life considering herself to be maimed by another. He had to remove that thought from her head. He will have to gain her friendship and then convince her to start a new life.
"Stop staring at me and get out" Panchi said with extra venom.
The land phone rang again.
"Yes Simran" Panchi said not taking her eyes off Siddarth.
"Gosh! How the heck did I forget'he will surely make mince meat out of me'..tell Abhay that I will be there in an hour" Panchi replied.
Siddarth frowned at the mention of his brothers name.
"Mr. Raichandh'.if you are adamant on remaining here be my guest'.I have to be somewhere'.good bye and kindly please don't show that ugly face here again" Panchi said with as much venom as she could muster. She was hiding her nervousness with great difficulty. Sid still had effect on her.
"Ugly! Gosh Birdie come up with a more solid PJ'.by the way have you started dating my charming baby brother'.just heard his name" Sid asked in a casual manner.
Panchi gave him a long look.
"What if I am? Not that you have left me worthy of any one" she said striding past him without even glancing.
"I promise you Panchi I will rectify my fault'.if Abhay can heal the wounds I gave you'then I will join heaven and earth to bring you both together" Sid said looking at her retreating form.
Oceans Own Restaurant'.
Piya was standing near the door gazing thoughtfully at Dhruv and Abhay.
This was her second encounter with Abhay and he yet again managed to make her blush by a mere look or touch.
Abhay could feel Piya's piercing gaze. He was regretfully acknowledging the strange effect she had on him. He could almost always sense her. Today he had remained as aloof from her as possible. Yet it was almost impossible to ignore her.
You like her Dhruv suddenly relayed mentally.
Nothing like that champ Abhay relayed back.

Abhay looked sternly at him but smiled an instant later
"Where the heck are birdie and Annie'.my stomach is growling" Misha complained yet again "Oye Raimoon...next time when you invite for dinner please keep a time limit"
"Not my fault that your sister is a workaholic" Abhay replied with a shrug "And your friend takes eons to get ready"
"Chill Mish'.lets go for a bike ride and be back'.they will come by then'.what say" Zara said trying to calm a flustered Misha.
"I think you are better off here Z'.I don't trust you with a bike" Piya said firmly.
Z rolled her eyes.
"Come on chicka! I can handle a bike'.if you are so keen on watching people much away stay here'.come Misha" Zara said walking towards the door.
She expected Piya to follow. But surprising her Piya remained back.
I do not trust him Z relayed to Piya.
Who told you to walk away? Now what will you do Piya asked.
Damn me! Z cursed.
Chillax Z'.I will be fine after all I am half a vampire na Piya relayed soothing Z.

Piya smiled and turned her gaze back to Abhay only to find him staring at her.
"Care for a walk in the garden" she asked trying to hide her blush.
Abhay shrugged.
Piya picked Dhruv up. In the past one week, Dhruv had made a good bond with her. He loved mind talking with her and Piya found his cherubic charm irresistible.
He didn't tell much about his father but told her that the vampire ditched his mom. Piya consoled him saying that she had a similar fate only she wasn't blessed with a mom. Dhruv sympathized with her but more than that he was sad to know that she was a half breed like him. Piya was now trying to make Dhruv feel good about himself. She showed him the positive side of their life.
She turned her gaze to find Abhay brooding with brows creased.
"Are you working or studying Abhay?" Piya asked trying to break the ice.
"Both'.working with my dad and studying at Mount College" Abhay replied briskly.
What an attitude! Piya thought.
"So we are going to the same college'..you must be quiet a star there" Piya said hinting at the obvious.
"Star in the sense that girls love to throw themselves at me shamelessly'.while I choose only the best that too for a week maybe" Abhay said with a grin.
Piya stared at him disbelief. His behaviour with her and the Dobrial girls and his description of himself seemed like two poles of a magnet
"A Casanova huh'..you seem to take great pride in it" Piya said not bothering to hide her distaste.
"Why should I? It's not like those girls want commitment'.I am not actually breaking any hearts" Abhay replied coolly.
"What if true love comes your way?" Piya challenged.
"Wow! For a supernatural you real are whimsical'.true love exists only in fiction Miss. Jaiswal" Abhay said with a laugh.
"How can you be so sure when you haven't ever experienced it? Supernaturals can also fall in love" Piya asked, not at all ready to leave him.
"We shouldn't'.it is not good for us" Abhay said with his eyes boring into hers. Piya shivered involuntarily but nonetheless replied
"We may not be humans Abhay'.but that doesn't take away our right to live'.love is a necessary part of life'.you do love Dhruv, Panchi and Misha'.that is the reason you care for them'.the other love we talk about is not so different from this Abhay'.it is just as important too" she replied with a smile.
Dhruv who was looking between Abhay and Piya now smiled at Piya. He placed a peck on her cheek.
"You agree with me don't you" she asked him with smile.
"Absolutely" he replied with a smile.
"Hey when did you join in with her" Abhay asked with a pout.
"Chachu you are boring at times'.besides I do need a girlfriend na" Dhruv said with a wink.
"Excuse me! You are just two my boy" Abhay said with mock horror.
Dhruv winked at him making Piya laugh.
Abhay had never before heard such a beautiful sound. Despite of himself he smiled.
