anmol not just jains but hindus, buddhists & even sikhs also believe in reincarnation or "puarjanam".its an impt aspects of all thes ereligions. and i also believe in Karma & its consequences. if u belive in it & want know sum more then do read Dr. Brian Weiss's books!!Originally posted by: intruderfast

i feel bad abt it,that i cant follow it completely , actually its very hard yes forgiveness is divine
u know we have a theory , if someone is doing bad to us , its cos, we have done something bad to him in previous janams(yes we beleive in janams and all that)
and whatever bad we r doing , we will get it back later in this janam or in next janams
to end this, one has to repent, forgive the person who did bad to u and simultaneously u also ask for sorry from the person who u have hurt, then only the cycle will end
and then only u will go and attain nirvana and go to moksha😊
@tinoo though i believe in Karma but i also believe in "god helps those who help themselves". so 4giving depends on the situations & intensity of harm done 2 us & capability of 4giving. if sum1 can't take revenge bcoz of any reasons(bcoz of luv 4 the prsn is 2 strong or sum1 more powerful) then it shud b left 2 God!!
and though it seems bad prsn r not getting punishment then its only that we can't see but God either is sumhow making his life hell whic we can't see but only felt by the wrong -doer. but human beings r so self-absorbed & 4getful abt his wrong-doings that still they don't see it as a sum kind of punishment rather satrt blaming it either on God 4 letting him 2 go thru such pain or oders responsible 4 it!! and even though theres hell & heaven in sumwhere in the space but theres also hell on the earth itself!! an di'd in real life seen many cases getting punishments 4 their deeds or sins but they blame it on ppl or God!!
in my real life my ex-room mate made my life sort of hell for 3 months during my coaching days & tried 2 mailgn by blaming like "black magic "(do u belive there r such ppl who consider ur routine puja like doing rosary etc. as black magic) but i didn't do or rather cudn't do it. and she was punished even in my presence & all oder gals Of PG saw her real face & wen i came back 2 my place those gals told me on phone abt her selfishness & evilness & praised me!!
