He tops the charts not because his songs are good..but because the rhythms is good..which most of the time is lifted..
He churns out a large number of songs..some people buy it because they like it..the foot tapping people..and the others buy it to understand what it is all about..and they are still trying to figure out.
I remember once I saw a tamil movie 4 times to make myself belief that I was not wrong the first time when i thought it was BAD !!!
As you very well know music cannot be quantified... A gem of a song always remains a gem..age never catches up..but ordinary numbers like the ones he give are forgotten so easily..but LO !! Himesh has found a solution..he repeats the beats and the tune as much as possible so that people remember it..!!
Well familiarity breeds contempt ..right. I am not against new age music.I loved the Parineeta songs..
But i wouldn't listen to more than 3 lines of a Himmy bhaiya song..
