Hi Friends, Sorry for giving you all a very bad news, it may be one of the worst news after the Independence. Subhash Srivastav an AIIMS student died at 6:44 pm on 20/05/2006, because of hunger strike protesting against reservation. Media is not allowed to cover it. Please post ur views to me and i'll post this to the ediotor.....but i dnt think so its gonna publish😡.......but still.......we can try.....if not in newspaper then in magzine or in i-f and other sites.plz do post and help not to let down his sacrifice Friend from a friend................................

OMG, this is horrifying! 😭 😭 😭

The government is smugly celebrating two years in power while students go without food for the 7th day running!! These chaps don't give a damn about the welfare of the country, all they care about is their divide-and-rule politics! 😡

The fury of the students cannot be suppressed for long. I appeal to all Indian citizens to vote this government out of power in the next elections. It is the only language they understand.

I am so sad hearing this news.why the hell should there be a quota when all are equal esp in education .Why should there be any reservation for anyone when we are always taught that all human beings are equal with brains given by god
anyway shame on the government for the loss of a good student.

I agree Tina. Reserving seats for students belonging to a particular class is absolutely gross. It is totally unfair that other students have to to slog for 10-12 hours a day for months in order to get 90%+ marks. And even then they are not sure whether they will get admission. On the other hand, a person belonging to a backward class gets admission even if he has secured just 40%.

If the government wants to help a poor yet deserving student - help him by all means by giving him monetary aid, but not by RESERVING a seat for him!!!
