I think the only way this is going to work without any problems in the family later is if hetal does not even hold her baby when he/she is born and just ask the doc to give it straight to sweety. Also sweety and parmeet should take the baby and go somewhere else and keep minimal contact with hetal or karan or else this wont work. My cousin adopted her BIL's son (their 5th kid) and as soon is the SIL went into the labor they called my cousin and her hubby and asked them to come to the hospital with all the stuff the baby might need and as soon as the baby was born they gave him to my cousin. She brought the baby home and the mother never participated in anything. Even now when someone asks her to hold her biological son she makes an excuse she never talks to him or holds him and she doesn't allow her other kids to bond with the kid (3 years old now) either. She knows that if she holds her baby they will form a bond that will make it impossible for her to walk away from her child. And all the siblings are obviously connected from heart so it is better for them to be away from each other. If sweety and parmeet live in the same house everytime the baby cries hetal would run first to take care of him and care for him and of course that might make sweety insecure because she knows they could take the baby away from him. My cousin to this day is scared that the biological parents might change their mind and take the her son away from her. There will always be problems like that. Plus hetal finds it hard to think about giving her baby away so just think about once she has her baby in her arms and feels the love that she has never felt before.

Nice story Nigo123... Operative word in the whole story was it was their 5th child and not their first child..I rest my case.
Karan was wrong, all those in family are so excited with this news are wrong..Shame on them for putting Hetal thru this dilema..

Wow, how brave of her! I think that the idea is very smart. But it would be even better if Hetal was pregnant with twins, that way she can bear less pain knowing she will have a child in her hands and so will Sweety when she gives birth. Kinda sad though that everyone is talking about Hetal getting preggers when Mona got married first.

honestly i think whether it is your first child or your last child the paid is the same and if you are fully capable of raising the child then don't give it up. But the problem with first child is that you don't know what the love of a child is. Karan is very so dumb no matter hetal Ws rude to him in the beginning. I think all the family members should have told him no and that they should adopt from outside. Sweety lost her unborn child and was depressed so they should just think of how hard it will be for hetal to give her new born baby and not comfort him when he cries and not feed him.

I agree no matter how many kids one has pain is same with each child..When I said operative word 5th child and not first what I meant to say is with first child you have so many first time feelings and excitement which you have never been thru b4...Its like first love is always special and has a place in one's heart..
I hope and wish it will be Karan who will not be able to give the child up when it is time as he will be attacked to the unborn child..Than he will realize how painful it is to give up..

in today's world, how could they not show other options such as surrogacy, going to fertility clinic, artificial insemination etc.

They just jumped to the giving the baby topic!! also, maybe Mona being Sweetys sister could have done this instead of Hetal. This would cause less problem.

Even I know a case where one sister gave her first born to her other sister. The kid grew up in America. The first sister had two other kids who knew their elder biological brother was with their maasi.
