Geet walked away from the table in tears and Maan realised he had been really harsh with her. He felt tremendous guilt two days in a row actually two nights he held her tight dug his hand into her skin and she never complained besides walking away. Maan was sure by now Geet would have some injuries. Maan
followed Geet into her room. He hurried to stop her from closing and locking the door. But he was too late. Geet walked into the room and banged the door shut. Tears were Coming out her eyes. She checked her hands and they were blue with bruises.
'Geet please darwaza kholo'
'Geet please kholo darwaza' Maan banged the door and urged her to open it. Geet wiped her tears and decided that she will not open the door not at all.
'Aap jaye yaha se mujhe aapse koi baat nahi karni' Geet yelled back.
'Geet Please I'm sorry, mujhe aisa nahi karna chahiye ta' Maan replied back. 'par main kya karta main daar gaya ta agar tumhe kuch hojata to'
Geet who was looking at the ground looked up facing the wall trying to comprehend the words Maan said. His voice showed worry and care. He was scared for her, really was it true. MAHII moment. Geet pulled herself together.
'App jayiye, mujhe kal college jana hai aur bohot raat hogaye hai' Geet said as she walked away from the door and started going through her bags. . Maan went away dejectedly from the door of Geet's room. He was walking towards his room when he got an idea.
Maan walked out of his house and saw the gardener and asked him for a ladder. He grabbed the ladder and positioned it infront of Geet's window.
'ab main Geet ko manakar rahoga' He thought to himself as he climbed up the ladder. He peeped into the room and saw there was no one there. He saw that the door was still locked. He jumped into the room and noticed that the bathroom tap was running. He hid behind the cupboard as soon as the water stopped running. Geet came out. She wiped her face with a towel and removed her duppata. Maan watched her every move. He saw her skin which was covered by the dupatta. He wanted to feel her soft creamy skin.
'Maan yeh tu kar karehe ho? Yeh Geet hai Geet. Pull yourself together' He scholded himself. Geet then untied the tori at her back looking in the mirror and was about to take her kameez off when Maan realised what she was doing and he came up to Geet to stop her. She was about to scream when Maan shut her mouth with his hand and pushed her against the wall. They both store into eachothers eyes.
'Chillana mat' Maan warned. Geet motioned with her eyes to let go of her mouth. Maan let go.
'AAP AAP YAHA KYA KAREHE HO' Geet shouted out. Maan pushed his hair back in frustration.
'Maine kaha chillana mat. Di aur Pari utt jayenge' Maan said.
'Pehle aap yeh bataye aap yaha kya karehe ho. AUr aapko sharam nahi ati. Main yaha kapre badal rahi ti'
'Main yaha tumse baat karne ke liye aya ta. Aur waise bi, bathroom hota hai kapre badal ne ke liye. Aur rahi sharam ani ki baat. Mujhe main sharafat to hai. Sahi waqt pe maine rokliya'
'ha ha bohot acha kiya. Aur ab aap jayenge. Mujhe kapre badalna aur sona hai'
'Pehle meri baat suno'
'Main kuch nahi suna chahti. Aap jate hai ya nahi'
Maan then noticed the bruise on her arms. He realised he was harsh. Geet looked at him staring at her and realised she did not have her duppata. She grabbed her duppata.
'sorry woh main' Geet said. Maan put her finger on her lips.
'chup bilkul chup. Aur chup chap raha betey raho warna mujse bura ko'
'chilla kyun rahe ho' whimpered Geet.
'main nahi chilla raha' Maan calmed down and said. He walked to the dressing table and picked up a first aid kit. (Its a guest room so obs Maan knws where things are)
Maan gently took Geet's arms and applied medcine on her arms. He fet her skin so smooth. he felt guilty for being pain to her. Geet closed her eyes as Maan applied the medicine wondering what was happening why she felt happy now he is caring for her.
'Geet main tumse kuch baat karna chahta ho' Maan said as he put the medicine box away.
'Ha main janti ho. Aur mujhe is baat se koi aitraaz nahi hai. Waise bi yeh Shaadi ek samjota ti. Aur aapki honi wali humsafar main nahi Sameera hai' Geet said as she walked to the side table and gave him the divorce papers.
'Geet yeh' Maan asked.
'Lawyer aya ta. Maine aunse baat karli ti' Geet said.
'I'm Sorry Geet' Maan said.
'aab aap jaye bohot raat hochuke hai. Waise bi aapko kal Sameera se baat karni hogi woh bohot pareshan ti' Geet did not take hindrance to her sorry.
Maan just realised about SAmeera. He remembered her running off quickly.
He walked to the door and thanked Geet for reminding him about Sameera.
'Geet kya hum dost ban sakte hai' Geet smiled at him. Maan saw a ray of hope.
'Nahi main aur aap kabi bi dost nahi bansaqteh' Geet said as she shut the door on his face.
'Dosti to tum karogi zazoor Geet' Maan said to himself.
He walked into his room and rang Sameera. Sameera noticed Maan calling her. She smiled through her tears and was about to pick up when the call stopped. Maan cancelled the call thinking its too late and he has to be there for Geet in the morning. Sammera called Maan back but as Maan had put his phone on silent and on charge he did not pick up.
In another part of town.
'yeh kaise hogaya. Itna bara plan ta hamara aur Maan aur Geet ko'
'main nahi janta, lekin ab hum kya kare?'
'Maan aur Geet ka faisla ab main karonga. Aur tum chinta mat karo. jaha tak maine suna hai, Geet ab Excel college join karahi hai. Waha par main auska nazar rakonga aur Maan aur Geet par nazar hamare jasoos karehe hai'
'Lekin yeh kaise hogaya. Tej ke khoon ke ilzaam main Maan ko jail jana ta na'

The following Morning, Maan woke up early, he saw his phone and saw so many miscalls from Sameera.
'uffo, mujhe to Sameera ko mana hoga, ab kya karo' Maan thought. He called some people and arranged some things.
He went downstairs and saw Sameera there talking with Geet and Anjali. He texted Sameera
'I'm sorry Sameera. maaf kardo maine tumhari liye suprise rakha hai' Sameera smiled but ignored the message after reading it. Maan came down and greeted good morning to everyone.
He tried to get Sameera attention who was purposely ignoring him.
After breakfast, Geet got up to grab her bag and Sameera stopped her.
'Geet' Sammera looked around to see that Anjali was not there and neither was Maan.
'Main yeh kehna chahti ho ke, dekho, ab tum college jane wali ho, to yeh mangal sutra aur sindoor mat lagana. Kyun ke ab to tum janti ho ke yeh shaadi to kuch mahino main katam hojaye gi phir'
Geet thought for a moment and realised Sameera was right.
'Sameera yeh tum sahi kehrahi ho. Aur waise bi agar mera chahne wala waha par mil jaye' Geet smiled as she took off the mangalsutra and the sindoor.
Maan in his room wrote a quick note.
'I'm really sorry. Pehle tum meri dost ti. Ab tum is se zydda ho. Kya tum mujhe maaf karogi, Aaj raat, ghar main koyi nahi hoga sirf tum aur main aur dinner. Mujhe tumse ek bohot zarorri bat karni hai

'kaunsi memsaab' asked Nakul, he pointed at Sameera from upstairs but when Nakul looked Sameera had moved and Nakul saw Geet.

At that point when Geet rubbed her sindoor off Maan felt something. He could not describe. Winds blew moving the curtains. He wondered what was wrong but ignored it.
Nakul gave the note to Geet. 'Je betiya rani yeh saab ne diya hai'
Geet read the note and thought maybe Maan wanted to talk to her about what he did yesterday and about the divorce and land issue.

She was walking towards her first class when she tripped over a skateboard and was about to fall back when a pair of arms saved her. She closed her eyes in fear.
'babaji bachalena' she mummmered.
'babaji ne tumhe bachaliya' A voice said. Geet opend her eyes to see a young man helping her to her feet.
'I'm woh main I'm sorry' Geet fumbled.
'Aap sorry kyun kehrahi hai. Waise bi tum nayi lagrahi ho' He said.
'jee woh' Geet fumbled.
'relax main tumhara ragging nahi karonga. Waise Mayank Sharma, dosti karogi humse' Mayank put his hand out. Geet smiled and shook his hand.
'Geet Handa' Geet replied as she did not want to say her marital name as it is being kept a secret.

'MAYANK SHARMA' A voice screamed.
'oh my god, yeh Nupur bi na, Geet please bag te hai yaha se, Nupur meri jaan le legi'
In the college corridor there was another pair of eyes watching Geet. He smirked to himself.

Mayank showed Geet around the whole college and then they went to the canteen.

'Hi I'm Nupur,' Nupur said introducing herself to Geet.

A man walked into the canteen. Nupur gestured him to the table.
'Hi Benji, uday Mayank Nupur Pari aur tumari sweet name kya hai' The guy said turning to Geet. Geet looked at him and smiled.

'mera matlab hai mera naam geet hai'

'Anyways guys class chale Mayank said' Nupur groaned. AS the guys were getting up, Arnav grazed Geet's hand which went unnoticed by her.

From the edge of the canteen a set of eyes were watching
