First she did all the drama on Rakhi and today she claimed money that was never hers.
She didn't earn it by working for it, all she did was lie and tried to cheat Koki and her son in law felt sorry for her, that is why he offered the money and even he lied to his mom for the money.
I am glad Urmila didn't get the money and Rashi had to pay the parlor bill with it.
Once again a poetic justice.

Another point Urmila keeps saying "hai mara thakorji" but continues with her bad deeds right in front of his eyes. Then she goes on to say Kanaji is testing us, well I would have to agree with her on this, he is testing them to see how low can they stoop. And not to reward them but to punish them.

I hope both Urmila and Rashi both get what they deserve soon.

Good post Shilpa.

Urmila's freeloading attitude and teaching Rashi her ways will see to both of their downfalls. Progressively throughout the serial they have been applying their tactics and gradually they are becoming desperate. Very soon it will lead to a now or never approach and this is where they will stumble, as life experiences show.

Already Koki caught them red handed with Urmila's plotting to retain Dhaval's loan and Rashi freely sharing in this scheme. It didn't take much for Koki to join the dots.

The problem with Urmila is that she fails to see the broader picture. Her greed yields immediate pleasure that is short lived in. With her teaching her daughter false ways of gaining material things for short term gains and for her need, can have a negative impact on Rashi's marriage and building a long term relationship with Jigar.

I agree with you.
I noticed today when she said that they are being tested.

Doesnt she realize that she brings all these troubles on her own head?

She has such a problem with Kinjal and is always glaring at her. But she fought tooth and nail to first get Kinjal into her house, and to keep her there

She increases troubles for herself, then begs kanhaji to fix things.

And you're right, it's all rooted from greed

Greed makes you do alot of bad things, but in R & U they don't think it is bad. Like when Rashi won the Contest , she really did not win , she cheated. gopi should have won. God sees everything, he is not like men,

That is why Gopi got to do the pooja, coz gopi was the rightful person. My mom and nani have this saying, turn the other cheek when someone does something bad to you. (like in gopi case, gopi never get revenge, she always forgive them) the only time she did not was when she beat rashi (the Ghost) coz rashi said she was going to hurt ahem.

I wish I spoke hindi better, than the translation would have been better.
