I'm guessing she will for quite some time really, I mean...she's the one with more experience and I'm guessing she also wants a spitfire bahu who can back her a little when Baapji goes on his tirades, and even if Kastur is the kind to not take nonsense from anyone she isn't exactly what you'd call spitfire...😆

Lovely review Mausam! I agree, Kastur needs to do less of the running and blushing and heavy breathing...it makes her look like a fair maiden kidnapped by a pirate in an 18th century bodice-ripper or something...😕 They can seriously stop a few dream sequences and crack down on some solid character development!!

PoV of Overall Epi:

frankly...i did not like yesterday's epi...i had been justifying myse;f quite a bit..but failed to do so yesterday! we r in the 3rd week and the show has not picked up pace atall! why is there soo much focus on baapjii??/ 2 epis were more than enough to show wat kind of person he is...and wat effect he has on the family😳...that whole masala thing could've been easily omitted...there was no need of that scene atall! creatives enough of beating around the bush...if u've christened the show dharampatni...get to that point ASAP

Points that we liked:

i liked kastur's eagerness to just make a call to mohan...and listen to his voice..it happens...very natural...for a change i liked baa yesterday...just loved the fact that atleast saroj has the guts to speak infront of baapji...atleast support her children...and the way the relationship between mohan and his mama is building up...he is honest with him...and this one thing...keeps my hopes alive for mohan...he is not an outright spoilt brat...he has some goodness in him too

Points that we disliked:

baapjii baapjiii baapjiii

i'm sorry to say...but even if that actor is working for free...u guys are drowning ur show by giving him soo much screen space! the epi could've easily been started with kastur and baa thinking abt makinga call wen baapjii calls and kastur blurts out the truth...it would've been short and less tortorous! 😳

Msgs for the lead Actors (Sincere Comments):

well this has been my prob right from day one...too much of gujju lingo being used...i don't know wat the show is aiming for! mass appeal or targetting just the gujju audience

using basic gujju words is oki...but baa and baapjii are using too much of gujju "heavy weight" words which are ununderstandable to non gujju people like us...i literally have to call up my gujju friends to get the meaning of that word!basic lingo is fine...but not too much of it plzzz

another thing is focus...creatives u guys wasted 3 episodes till date on kastur's bro's problem and 3 epis on ur beloved baapjii😳...1 epi was dedicated to janmashtami and the other one was shared between mohan, his homecoming...his bonding with his momsie and his mama

the ratio is poor

plzzz concenterate on the leads...its a request...we die hard fans are finding it unbearable...just think wat others would feel 😒

Msgs for the rest of the cast../team/makeup/costume department:

ummm...less makeup for champu plzzz...i liked kastur's dressing style...(lehariya's are in)...others r fine...

i think it'll be a fresh change tosee kastur experimenting with her hair...u know at times in a ponytail or a plait...just for a change

Suggestions for handling of tracks:

concenterate on leads plzzz...u guys r taking one day at a time to reveal mohan's bad habits...i mean...day one it was his disliking for traditions

day 2 it was his disliking to gujju things

day 3 it was his smoking habit

day 4 it was his drinking habit

do it at one go! increase the pace plzzz...

Other suggestions:

guys...we have been emphasizing to increase the pace...but that doesn't mean u guys drag with baapji stuff...and have a marathon with mohan kastur tracks...plzz learn to strike a balance!

Ah...

Gr8 corner...Srsly man...CVs should once in a whil;e come to such forum and check out comments...

Anyways back to the topic...

The strory srsly isnt living upto my expectations...Or maybe anyone's expectattions...

the fpucs is way too much of Baapji's hitler ways...I agree you need some tyrant character is a show to make it spicy(masaledaar😉)... And when the masalale daar character himself is doing masala dhanda...Theyre is way tooo much masala to believe...Especially now...I dont think its very much possible that anyone in any house goes like him...

And then the way Bhanu is scared of him...And the way their whole family becomes bheegi billi in front of him...Its just irritating at times...

And then that masala scene yesterday...It looked like Bhanu is being treated like those purane zaamane slaves...It was all unnecessary...

Instead they should focus on Mohan & Kastur...Both are doing a fab job with whatever time they get...And pll...I know side tracks are importatnt...But here its totally opposite...Side tracks look like the most important ones...And the main leads for which most of us watch the show are barely seen for 3 mins...I hope the CVs sooon turn it into wat the show is meant to be...Focus on Mohan & Kastur...and not sooo much on the side leadss...

Otherwise I have nothing against Baapji...He is doing a great job as the tyrant...

And the Mama- Bhanjaa scens are funny and light tooo watch...

And at times even Kastur-Baa combo is fun n light...

HC n Asiya doing a gr8 job with watever screen space theyre getting...

Overall Rating : 5/10

Hope to see something more than Baapji shotuing at the top of his voice throughout the show...
