Okay a quick response!! I indeed believe that bani has fallen in love with jai and she keeps telling herself that she doesn't care for him, and it's just a thought of her! When jai told roshni that he'll stay back, bani ko jhatka laga, which she turned around to exchange looks from jai! That's a big give away to jai, that indeed bani you care for him a lot and you were getting jealous! The other time was when she went to the mandir and without realizing, she prayed for jai. Also, she couldn't sleep and kept tossing and turning, thinking about jai, and if he needs anything! So she finally went to check up on him, but it was only to see if jai was sleeping with roshni! What a sigh of relief for her when she found out that jai was sleeping on the couch!! awww ! okay back to your questions!

Questions for the Weekend;

What is your general take on Jai's attitude towards Roshni? He seems to be extremely rude yet caring like a true friend towards her, and yet again shows absolutely no inkling of any romantic feelings towards her, as if they were only good friends but never lovers? Can you guess the true relationship between Jai and Roshni based on Jai's behaviour towards her?

He does care for roshni, but as far as I know, only as a friend! They might have been in love before, but the vibe that I'm getting from Jai is not at all love towards roshni. Sometimes I feel that he might be insecure when roshni is around because for the fact that she and only him knows the past incident. Jai's likeness and anger towards roshni is justified because in a way he does care for her, but then again, she knows something that jai wouldn't want to be out in the open. She might be here to let go off her guilt, but jai is not ready to give in yet.

Bani ended up asking for Jai's happiness from God along with Pia and Rano? Is that indicative of a further rift from her sisters, especially Pia...because Jai and Pia will always be on parallel tracks and Bani would have to ultimately make a choice between choosing her husband's happiness or her sister's?

Yes, I was actually thinking about that. Now that jai has become part of bani's life, she might be making a rift between her and her sisters, but I would actually say that pia needs to think before she passes a judgment. Because bani is jai's wife now, she has become so attached to him, and this might irritate pia because jai will be getting more attention rather herself. Pia might still think that jai still likes her and bani + jai are just putting up an act of liking each other just because of mausi, but that's not true at all. Pia and jai's tracks will never meet, yes she had a chance, but that chance is gone now. Because pia might notice that jai is indeed receiving more attention from bani, then she might ask bani to choose between her and her sisters.

Jai looked guilty and helpless towards Bani as he tells Roshni that he will spend the night in her room. Is Jai's suggestive gesture towards Bani an indication of his growing responsibility as a husband who wants to assure his wife silently that there is nothing going on between me and my ex-girlfriend and don't worry, I am only meant for you?

Well when I saw the episode, I did get the vibe that jai was giving a look of understanding. But moreover, bani was the one showing jealousy, and jai actually saw that. Jai absolutely has feelings for bani, and because of the affection and likeness towards her, he didn't stay in roshni's room and instead slept on the couch. That is a giveaway that jai cares for bani's feeling and he read her eyes, when she turned back to look at him while jai made the suggestion of staying back. I guess now he is too, fulfilling his responsibilities as a husband towards bani, but sometimes to me, it looks like he is doing this out of guiltiness.

Bani's growing feelings of jealousy and possessiveness towards Jai is making her slightly aggressive and bold, atleast with respect to Roshni. Do you think that Jai will notice the difference in Bani's attitude and what do you think he will feel about the same?

Well all that natak they were doing in front of mausi actually is turning into love, we are definitely sure from bani's side. As for bani, I wouldn't say she is aggressive, but more of bold because she is taking a step forward, and I think jai likes that. He feels that because bani's feelings are growing for him, he might not let her go later, and with this fact, he is not hurting bani anymore and is fulfilling some duties towards her. Sometimes I feel that jai might be doing this out of guilt, but most of the time, it is out of love. Jai has already seen the change within bani's attitude, and of course bani has seen change within jai's attitude. This might lead to a step forwards to their relationship.

Guessing by the way Roshni talked about Pushkar to Bani and her subsequent look of fright, does it indicate that Roshni has a fair idea that Bani was once in love with Pushkar and if she does, do you think she will use it to poison Jai's mind against his wife?

No, I don't think roshni has the idea that bani might have liked puskhar once. She just use the fact the puskher can borrow money from bani, and she exaggerated it sarcastically. Her attack wasn't going for pushkar, but bani. In a way, I thought she might want to get back at pushkar for what he did to jai, but moreover, it was her egocentric attitude towards bani and not pushkar and she. If roshni had the idea about bani once being in love with pushkar, she would've already mentioned it to jai.

What do you think will Bani's reaction be if and when Pushkar confronts her regarding her once upon a time feelings for him? Will Bani lie point blank to him refuting everything or will she accept and then plead to Pushkar to forget the past and never bring this up again? Do you feel that somewhere down in her Heart, Bani still holds some embers of emotions for Pushkar or are they completely awashed with Jai's love?

Mostly likely, I think she'll lie about it. For one thing, she doesn't want to ruin so many lives because if she does accept the fact, then it'll bring chaos in four lives. I'm very sure, she doesn't have no more feelings for pushkar, because she pushkar wasn't actually her love, but more of a best friend and someone to lend her a hand. It was merely an infatuation for her, but her true love is of course jai, and the fact is that she is just in denial stage, where she is not willing to admit anything and keeps on reassuring herself that she doesn't care for jai.

With Pushkar growing disillusioned with his marriage to Pia day by day, do you think that the day Pushkar comes to know that Bani had once been in love with him become the last nail on the coffin on his relationship with Pia and deluge him with regret for what he lost out? Or will Pushkar always consider Bani to be his friend and nothing more and continue loving Pia selflessly?

If Pushkar truly loves Pia, then he would certainly not leave her, for she is his wife and his love. If he finds about bani once liked him, then he would have some stressful thoughts. He might realize that the woman bani is the one who actually understood him fully and not pia, but I think he'll find it amusing that bani actually sacrificed her happiness just to keep pia and pushkar happy, and for this, he'll respect her even more, but wouldn't go back to bani of course. As for pia, she might use this as a weapon against bani, and knowing she is materialistic, she might want to go back to jai, thinking that he'll take her back.

Do you think that Bani is too traditional and old-fashioned for her age and takes her role as Jai's wife very seriously? Do you feel that even though Jai and Bani are apart by 17 years in age, they are mentally in the same wavelength...as in Jai is very forward thinking and modern for his age and Bani is quite the orthodox girl for her age and hence they strike a perfect balance as Husband & Wife?

To tell you the truth, one thing I notice between jai and bani is that jai is changing the way bani thinks, and bani is changing the way jai think. Bani now understand that age is not a matter anymore, but it is the love that one should have for the other person. As for jai, he is also started to view things through bani's implications and this is what bringing them close actually. Both of them understand each other so well that there is no space left for arguing with each other. Because bani is a wife, and the younger on in the relationship, she is the one always making compromises and really to think about it, she is far more mature than jai. She was right about jai one time, that he is like a child. It sometimes feels like that she is the old one because of her astuteness.

A long term question for your analysis; Bani has always been a girl who has had an unbelievable capacity for forgiveness and the ability to not hold a grudge against anyone for even a moment, whatever be the cause. My question is, whenever the truth comes out from Jai's closet, do you think that Bani will be able to forgive Jai the way she forgave Pia and Pushkar?

Bani is indeed a character who forgives and forget, and is the devi of forgiveness! She might forgive jai and she might not, because it all depends on how big the secret is. If it is something related to her life and affected her life in a big way, then I have a feeling that she might not forgive this time. Because when comes to think about it, she has been doing this her whole life; just being pushed by everyone else, but if the secret is not an incident of purpose, than she might forgive jai, but looking at Jai, he is really insecure about this secret and he feels really guilty, because even know, he thinks of what happened in the past life, that might be related to bani.

Okay done with your answers Prof. MT!! hope they are fine

Cheers

MT, ah I really love your posts!

Firstly, i have to agree with you - I was really hoping that Jai would wake up and wonder where the pillow and blanket came from, but DAMN! Bani questioning herself - Bani tumko pyaar ho gaya hai..i answered all her questions didn't I?

Ditto to what you said, let the mystery just unfold itself, we have made enough predictions and gave in our own analysis!

Now to your questions:

What is your general take on Jai's attitude towards Roshni? He seems to be extremely rude yet caring like a true friend towards her, and yet again shows absolutely no inkling of any romantic feelings towards her, as if they were only good friends but never lovers? Can you guess the true relationship between Jai and Roshni based on Jai's behaviour towards her?

-This question takes me to wonders!! As we know, Jai is very rude to Roshni ONLY and only because of that one mistake they made and that raaz which is hidden from us. Of course Jai's nature explains why he cares for her, but that doesn't mean he has to have a romantic relation with her. Roshni and Jai have been very close to each other - which explains why he isn't hurting her feelings, he considers himself to be a big part of the raaz they are hiding. I personally think that their relationship is only of friends that maybe once felt something for each other but never took it furture. Though, from Roshni's side, I think that she does love him, or is still feeling that something for him. Once again, Roshni's character is grey, so who knows!

-From that one particular scene, Bani let out her love for him, not thinking of Jai, he came in her prayers! So yes, she cares for him! I don't know about Rano at the moment because of the track, but YES Pia definetly. Pia and Puskhar are having so many problems right now, so this situation will indeed come up. From what I can see happening, Pia will accuse Bani of purposely marrying Jai after she ran away so she can have all the comfort in the world and letting Pia marry Puskhar. It's meant to happen. Later on because of certain situations, yes i suppose that Rano and Bani will also have rifts in their relationship. At a point, Bani will have to take a decision of sisters or Jai, and I hope she picks Jai, because the way Pia is going to react is not worth leaving your life for, who is Jai.

Jai looked guilty and helpless towards Bani as he tells Roshni that he will spend the night in her room. Is Jai's suggestive gesture towards Bani an indication of his growing responsibility as a husband who wants to assure his wife silently that there is nothing going on between me and my ex-girlfriend and don't worry, I am only meant for you?😉

-Ahh, YES!! Jai is realising his responsibility towards Bani, and that there is a difference in Roshni and Bani. Also like before, when they were going to the mandir and Jai said that Bani doesn't need an explaination or anything. Not to forget other things that happen around the house, Jai is supporting Bani to all extents! Now come on, if he has called Bani a part of the family and Roshni an outsider, what more proof does someone need to say this is love?! From all the actions towards Bani, yes he is silently telling Bani his Dil ki baat!

Bani's growing feelings of jealousy and possessiveness towards Jai is making her slightly aggressive and bold, atleast with respect to Roshni. Do you think that Jai will notice the difference in Bani's attitude and what do you think he will feel about the same?

-Hmmmm...I'm thinking! Yes, Bani's behaviour has changed ever sense Roshni has came into this 'happily' married life of hers. I think that Jai has actually started to notice the amount of uncompfortablitly Bani feels around Roshni and Jai. Because Jai has also started to fall for Bani, he will understand - but his is Mr. Ego Walia, remember, so he will not say to himself that i do love Bani so I think he will have a talk about this with Bani sometime very soon. Par Joh bhi hai, Jaldi Karo Naa! LOLZ!

Guessing by the way Roshni talked about Pushkar to Bani and her subsequent look of fright, does it indicate that Roshni has a fair idea that Bani was once in love with Pushkar and if she does, do you think she will use it to poison Jai's mind against his wife?

-Well, I don't have a idea about if she indicates that Bani once felt for Puskhar, but yes if she ever finds out, that will be indeed a strong weapon to use against Bani to poison Jai's mind - and our Khadoos does get influenced by people very quickly these days...!!!

-This is like a tusnami (spelling) in her life for sure! It wouldn't be pleasent if she found out that Puskhar knows about what Bani once felt for him, that too after being married to her sister Pia. What i am scared of his that because Pia and Pushkar rifts are growing by day, Pushkar might realize that Bani was the girl for him...urgh! Yes, Bani will accept that she did love him, but that was the past and now she is a married women, and happy! Bani has fortunatly forgotten about Puskhar (Unlike other girls, who just get depressed him love). No, I'm sure that Bani does NOT hold any of those feelings, according to me, that was only a infatuation. She only held that feeling for a day or two, and when she found out about Pia and Puskhar, she was certainly hurt, but not as deeply. The love for him had no deepened that much. She only loves Jai now...yaaaaaaaayyy! LOLZ.

-Hahah i just said that in my answer above! I think that he will get the feeling of 'Maybe Bani was for me, my decision was so hasty.' Even though that might happen, I don't think he will become one of those obbsessed lovers trying to break Bani and Jai's marriage (Atleast i hope NOT!). Puskhar should have the brains to understand that her marriage is sucessful and she is happy - she sacrificed her 'love' to her Pia and him married. Puskhar was only devdas when Pia and Jai were getting married, so he shouldn't let his marriage break so easily!

-Good question! See, Bani is a very mature person, and understands things pretty well. Any wife would feel like that, esp. when they are in a situation Bani is in - she doesn't even know that she loves Jai. A husband would want a wife like that, though Jai liked someone who is modern like Pia, he will later understand that Bani is a better wife. I don't know how to answer this question, perhaps its not settling in my head correctly, but yes Jai and Bani are a perfect husband and wife! Understanding is all a couple needs between them, if that is there, everything goes well - love & trust needs understanding! I can say that because Bani understood Jai, what he was/is doing through, and that led her to love and trust him. Ah, I'm confused!

A long term question for your analysis; Bani has always been a girl who has had an unbeliveable capacity for forgiveness and the ability to not hold a gurdge against anyone for even a moment, whatever be the cause. My question is, whenever the truth comes out from Jai's closet, do you think that Bani will be able to forgive Jai the way she forgave Pia and Pushkar?

-I don't know what the truth is, but I am sure that it is explainable. Bani will be hurt (Well, Jai is making it look like) but if she understands she will forgive him. Maybe for a while, it may also shatter all the dreams she has. Its the past, Jai is guilty, Bani loves him, and they have a future! She will forgive him!

MT, those were a lot of questions, but i enjoyed every single minute of responsing back to them. I think these questions are needed, it gets me to understand every situation more better, from the characters point of view!

Questions for the Weekend;

There are some characterstics of Jai which are very typical of him, like his volatile temper, his impulsiveness, his intensity and passion and then his caring and warm nature...hence, even though he might be extremely rude to the point of cruelty towards Bani, he can be immensely warm and caring towards her! Same is his attitude towards almost everyone in his life and Roshni is no different! Jai and Roshni have shared a tremendous past, that thing is for sure and whatever Jai is doing for Roshni has its roots in that Past relationship and also in the common guilt that they both share! Even if Jai had not been blackmailed by Roshni, he would have still been caring towards her, its intrinsic to his nature! At this point it is very tough to guess what was the exact relationship between Jai and Roshni, but yes, one thing is sure, that they both were thick as thieves and extremely close to one another as friends. The romance part might be just incidental, with both of them sharing a casual physical relationship with no emotions attached, but yes, Roshni did love him passionately and still does, but as far as I can see, Jai has never felt anything for Roshni apart from the emotion that one friend feels for another!

I wasn't surprised at all when Bani asked for Jai's happiness, what surprised me was that she didn't ask for her happiness along with him; but I guess we have to wait a little bit for it! Jai came to be a part of Bani's life the moment he took the sacred seven steps with her and made her his wife...even when Bani handed over the Divorce paper, she was giving a choice to Jai and not making a choice herself...that itself proves that Bani has always seeked Jai's happiness and that happens only when you love someone dearly! Yes, Jai and Pia's happiness can never be on the same track, they have to be parallel and Bani will be compelled to make a choice one day, either by one of them or by destiny and I won't be surprised if she chooses Jai over Pia, simply because unaware of herself, Bani is becoming Jai's Wife everyday and hence becoming less of Pia and Rano's sister in the process!

I would say that Jai showed a whole range of expression's with that one look to Bani! As Darcy has so correctly mentioned, the best part about Jai and Bani's relationship is that speak through their silences and when a person undestands your unspoken thought, that means he is completely attuned to you in every way possible! According to me, Jai's expression suggested, "Don't you dare object to my spending the night in Roshni's room" to "Heck, Bani, please try and understand my position" to "Hey, I am sorry, there is nothing between Roshni and me, I am just spending the night as a friend and nothing else" to "Don't worry sweetheart, my full loylaties lie with you, and we will sort out everything very soon" to a simple, "What is going on in your mind when I told Roshni that I will spend the night in her room?"! And whatever Jai meant by that one look of his, Bani seemed to have instantly grasped it!

Bani's growing feelings of jealousy and possessiveness towards Jai is making her slightly aggressive and bold, atleast with respect to Roshni. Do you think that Jai will notice the difference in Bani's attitude and what do you think he will feel about the same?

The moment Bani sarcastically told Roshni that it was she who had to spend the night alone and not her, proved that Bani is surely getting bolder and more aggressive in her attitude, atleast when Jai is not around! Jai has not had a chance to see Bani's direct interaction with Roshni in his presence, but he still has a fair idea that Bani does not like Roshni one bit, or rather she does not like to see Roshni with Jai one bit! I am sure he will be amused if he see's Bani verbal duel with Roshni, but he will also be the one to reprimand Bani for the same and not Roshni. And that is simply because, he considers his right on Bani to be much larger than Roshni and hence feels that if he has to make one of them quiet, then it better be his Wife!

Guessing by the way Roshni talked about Pushkar to Bani and her subsequent look of fright, does it indicate that Roshni has a fair idea that Bani was once in love with Pushkar and if she does, do you think she will use it to poison Jai's mind against his wife?

Roshni at the moment has no inkling about Bani's once upon a time feelings for Pushkar; one because no one except Sonali and Rano know about it and secondly Bani has given no such clue from which Roshni could make any guess! But yes, the day she comes to know of it, she will waste no time in letting Jai know of the same, but then again, Roshni seems to be kind of concerned for Bani and she would know how much this piece of information will devastate Jai and hence might just keep mum on this!

Bani will be overcome with fear and remorse the day Pushkar confronts her with this truth! And her first reaction will be to accept that, yes, she was once supposedly in love with him but she will also immediately let him know that she misunderstood his friendship and her own feelings for him and that was the reason she kept quiet about it and not because of Pia! This might be a moment, where Pushkar asks her if she still holds any such emotions with regard to him and Bani will probably blurt out that she is in love with Jai or just keep quiet and Pushkar will guess on his own that it is only Bani's husband who has made a permanent niche in her heart and now it holds no feelings for anyone else! As they say, "A young girl's heart is like a mirror, different reflections come and vanish, but a married woman's heart is like a picture frame, it has just one permanent picture etched on it, that of her husband."

All said and done, Pushkar has loved Pia with complete passion and depth and whatever he did was not an act of impulse rather his maddeing and obsessive love for Pia. I have a feeling that even though Pushkar might regret his marriage to Pia at one point or the other, he will never regret loving her and as long as he keeps loving Pia, it won't really matter to him that Bani had once been in love with him! Pushkar will always seek Bani as a good friend and nothing more or less, berfet of the fact whether she loved him or not!

Jai and Bani complete and contrast one another in every possible way and hence they share a natural compatibility, without even trying to be compatible! Jai is surely a very modern and open-minded man, which is obvious, given his wealthy background and cosmopolitan upbringing but yet, he is also a typical Indian Male, who expects his Wife to run around him all the time and manage his Life without obstructing it! Bani on the other hand is a very tradition bound girl who seems to believe in the age-old Hindu dictum, "Pati hi Parameshwar hai" that is Husband is equivalent to God! Hence, despite Jai's innumerous short-comings and his almost inhuman behaviour towards Bani, she still held no grude against him and despite herself ended up falling in love with him! Part of the reason was that Bani knew Jai is essentially a golden-hearted man who has been wronged by her sister and circumstances and given time, love and understanding, he will surely be his old self again! Hence, despite the difference in age, social-strata, family background, education, exposure and different way of thinking, somehow Jai and Bani are totally attuned to one another, they almost seem to complete one another!

True Love will always find Forgiveness; however big the crime / mistake is! Bani has already forgiven Jai for a lot of transgression without even a murmur and that is when she is not even completely in love with him! If Bani finds out about the "mystery" about Jai once she has totally fallen in love with him, however big his mistake is, she will somehow find the benevolence and understanding to forgive him for the same. It would be Jai who will find it tough to forgive himself for all that he has made Bani go through!

Okee, the questions were pretty tough, I never realized it! But I had fun answering them anyway!😉 Would be awaiting some more replies from the Old Faithfuls!

Lots of Love,

MT

Great thoughts MT.. and where do you find time and energy to think and write all this?
Nevertheless we enjoy it as much as you do.. 😉 😃

Since I discovered IF ,I can't imagine my day without KSMT , that is KS + MT , it is like kismet...Haila!!!

Anyway here it goes...

What is your general take on Jai's attitude towards Roshni?

I agree with you MT.. Jai does not seem to be ever in Love with Rashni..may be a physical encounter once (Cuddles must have had a lot to drink) but he cannot stand her and it is not like Jai not to be moved by emotion if he ever came face to face with the person the loved. He basicaly is a caring person but hides behind arrogance to maintain his powerful stature.

Bani ended up asking for Jai's happiness from God along with Pia and Rano? Is that indicative of a further rift from her sisters, especially Pia...
Bani believes in playing the part in whatever form she happens to be and Jai became a part of Bani the day she took Saat pheras with him. I am not surprised she considers Jai very near and dear to her and would give her life to save Jai's. Pia being the opposite of Bani may try to claim Jai back but Jai will not even give her 2nd glance. I think Jai knows for a fact that Pia was not his love but a pretty plastic flower on his way to the garden which is Bani. Bani will decide who to side with based on who Jai desires.
Jai looked guilty and helpless towards Bani as he tells Roshni that he will spend the night in her room...
Loved it...As far as instituition of marraige goes, J & B are on the same page..Jai's screaming and yelling aside , if he ever steps out of line, Bani will surely remind him with her eyes and he replies the same way. Only 2 ppl who understand each other so well can communicate this way...
One thing I have noticed about Jai is that being physical with someone to destroy or hurt is not his style... Bani was anxious but not worried that Cuddles would do something that he should not be doing because he has not touched her once even though they share the bed. Well he drooled with his eyes in Goa Bathroom scene but that is different.. 😉 😉 Itni toh Ijaazat hai Teddy ko..

Bani's growing feelings of jealousy and possessiveness towards Jai is making her slightly aggressive and bold...

Bani has always been in control no matter what the situation(with regard to her sisters or her responsibility as a wife) and Jai's disinterst in Roshni gives her more power to deal with her..After seeing Cuddles sleep on sofa , she knows Roshni is no threat to her..If and when Jai tells Bani to shut up , she will..
does it indicate that Roshni has a fair idea that Bani was once in love with Pushkar and if she does, do you think she will use it to poison Jai's mind against his wife?....

Don't think Roshni knows about Bani's crush on Pushkar and Jai knows Bani better then to listen to Roshni's nonsense.

What do you think will Bani's reaction be if and when Pushkar confronts her...
Bani knows it was crush and Pushkar loves Pia and respects Bani as elder sister. he would not bring it up..
will Pushkar always consider Bani to be his friend and nothing more and continue loving Pia selflessly?

Yes..Pia will seperate from Pushkar but Bani will bring her back to her senses..

Do you think that Bani is too traditional and old-fashioned for her age and even though Jai and Bani are apart by 17 years in age, they are mentally in the same wavelength...they strike a perfect balance as Husband & Wife?

I love this question.. Don't we all wish for a succesful ,well todo, authoritative husband like Jai and mature , young, pretty, dutiful wife like Bani? Voila it is a perfect couple.. 😆 classic shaadi.com ad.. What's not to love here? Seriously, Bani was not looking to marry someone 17 yrs older but Jai is not a stranger per say and she has always respected him and is fulfiling her duties as a perfect wife and Jai will to once he accepts the fact that Bani is the girl he was searching for in Pia..

My question is, whenever the truth comes out from Jai's closet, do you think that Bani will be able to forgive Jai ...

I don't think Jai is guilty of anything in Bani's past directly but may have witnessed something happen to her mother and does not want to hurt Bani by telling her..If he were guilty then he would not get so upset when Bani asked Dadi about his past and make such threats... At the least he would be humble and apologetic towards Bani if he felt any responsibility for Bani's past..
Bani is very sensible and will never doubt Jai for a second of any wrongdoing and her belief in sanctity of marriage will not let her be anything less then what she is.. a caring dutiful wife and lover.. 😉

Late but I managed to get it in by monday..

Cheers MT.

Lot of questions MT...I have tried putting my views in the best possible manner but somehow I feel that it has not been too good...anyways.....

Ok this is one question which is uppermost on everyone's mind incl Bani. But maasi seems to know some details which even dadi does not know. Just my guess. But I feel that Jai and Roshni were close to getting married when something happened (the mystery. I have decided not to speculate on it) which caused them to drift apart. Jai is always unpredictable with his close ppl. He does not hesitate in calling a spade a spade. and that is how he is and in fact that is what which kind of makes him different. So he is the same with Roshni as well. and she understands him as like Bani abt his character.

In fact I like the way the serial is showing both the marriages. Pia and Pushkar fell in love and got married against all odds. Theirs is a case of fairy tale romance and have everything positive. On the contrary Jai and Bani got married in the most telling circumstances and now slowly they are in the process of understanding each other. I think that Bani will have to make a choice between Pia and Jai some day. Mostly once again to do with the raaz. I think that after knowing the raaz Bani will support Jai and Pia will ask Bani to choose between herself and Jai. I don't see any other reason. Also Jai and Bani (especially Bani as am not sure of Jai once again) have this nice way of guessing in whatever is in others minds. They don't have to spell everything in clear words. Just one look and each understands what is on in others minds. Like they say 'Speech is sliver, Silence is golden' The same is true in Bani and Jai's case.

I also thought abt Jai's lingering glance towards Bani when he said that he will spend the night in Roshni's room. I feel that Jai respects the relationship as otherwise I don't think that he would have slept outside. He could have always slept on the sofa inside the room as well but he chose not to do so. He cares for the sentiments and I don't think he was also worried of Maasi suddenly coming and peeping in. Jai's face usually shows a gamut of emotions....and in that one moment of lingering glance I thought he looked like 'Am my own master I can do whatever I want'. 'After all Roshni is my friend'. 'I know that I need to care for your sentiments as well Bani but then' and so on.

Bani's growing feelings of jealousy and possessiveness towards Jai is making her slightly aggressive and bold, atleast with respect to Roshni. Do you think that Jai will notice the difference in Bani's attitude and what do you think he will feel about the same?
Jai is one confused character when it comes to Bani. Rather than confused i will call him unpredictable as he himself does not know what is there in his mind. I don't think that Jai is going to notice anything amiss or even if he notices he is going to ignore it coz as of now the raaz is uppermost in his mind and everything else looks secondary to him. In fact after the raaz comes out in open Bani might take the situation under control and after that Jai might think of something. But Bani is aggressive usually when Jai is not around and she seems to answer back when Jai is not around. With Jai around she is usually lost for her words except when her sisters are insulted.

Guessing by the way Roshni talked about Pushkar to Bani and her subsequent look of fright, does it indicate that Roshni has a fair idea that Bani was once in love with Pushkar and if she does, do you think she will use it to poison Jai's mind against his wife?
I don't think that Roshni has any inkling of bani's past love with Pushkar.

What do you think will Bani's reaction be if and when Pushkar confronts her regarding her once upon a time feelings for him? Will Bani lie point blank to him refuting everything or will she accept and then plead to Pushkar to forget the past and never bring this up again? Do you feel that somewhere down in her Heart, Bani still holds some embers of emotions for Pushkar or are they completely awashed with Jai's love?
bani is going to be shocked at that time. Bani is not a kind of person who will lie. So my guess is that she will accept and also tell Pushkar that he is just her past and once she got to know abt Push-Pia love things changed automatically and he is just her friend and BIL. and yes she would request Push not to bring this up again. No I don't think that Bani harbours any kind of romantic feelings for Pushkar.

Puhskar might feel regret at the thought that unwittingly he was the cause of Bani's sorrow. But I don't think that he is going to get over his love for Pia at the though that he could have got Bani for himself. Push has been shown as a character who can do anything for his love. So just coz someone else loved him is not going to reduce his love for Pia a wee bit. and that is the beauty of his character. and yes Push will always consider Bani as his friend and continue loving Pia. (Mind you am considering the ideal conditions here. If 2morrow 'K' madam decides to introduce some twists that the characterizations might change)

There is no doubt that Bani is traditional and yes she does take her role as Jai's wife seriosly. It was interesting to see Bani fretting over Jai when he was to spend the night with Roshni. Typical wifely worries. and age has no importance here. Age is not a barrier when it comes to love. Am not sure if Jai is forward thinking rather I feel that most of the times he is the traditional types. He likes coming to a home filled with traditions. I remember seeing a glimpse of happiness on his face when Jai comes to know that Bani had arranged a Puja the other day. So though Jai and bani are apart by age but mentally they are quite similiar. Their basic expectations are the same. Similarly they have some differences as well as in the way they approach small things. They have their own similarities and some differences as well. So they strike a perfect balance as husband and wife.

My guess is Bani will forgive Jai (maybe after some initial reservations when she really understand why Jai went to such great lengths to hide the truth from her. I still feel that Jai will not be directly involved to cause some distress to Bani as such anyways let' see) and due to this only friction between Pia and bani will happen and Pia will ask Bani to choose either her or Jai and Bani will choose Jai. Somehow I feel that Jai is restricting himself maybe coz of the raaz as well. So once it comes out he will feel more free and maybe start noticing his pretty wife and her change of manner with him and hopefully reciprocate in a positive manner.

ok and now am off to read all your answers !!! btw i've been trying to post this message for the past 30 mts now and seem to be having some problem with my net connection.....finally its done !!!

Hi MT

Ok I am very late in replying but blame it on my laptop. I typed everything and was about to post and my battery died on me.

Here are my answers once again. I will write it up in short.

According to me Jai is treating Roshni just like an aquaintance. To me he seems neither her close friend anymore nor lovers. Also the past relationship according to me is also a one way traffic just like Bani-Pushkar relationship. Roshni was/is in love with Jai but for Jai she is nothing but just a friend. In the past they might have been best friends but now that friendship is gone due to whatever the damn raaz is.

Yes Bani and Pia are bound to be seperated and that will be becoz Bani will choose Jai over Pia. That is bound to happen. But I have my doubts about Rano. But you never know. If Ekta explores her character. She can change as well. So most probably the 3 sisters will seperate. The title video also suggests the same. 3 of them all looking in different directions.

After watching the video, I don't think Jai seemed to say I am only meant for you. 😊 How I wish that was the case. But yes he did realise that Bani is upset with his decision. I think more than guilty and helpless he seemed confused by Bani's reaction. I guess he did not expect Bani to disapprove his decision. He did not seem to understand as to why she was upset over it.

Bani's growing feelings of jealousy and possessiveness towards Jai is making her slightly aggressive and bold, atleast with respect to Roshni. Do you think that Jai will notice the difference in Bani's attitude and what do you think he will feel about the same?

Bani's boldness is always in Jai's absense. But he has already noticed her dislike for Roshni when he approved of staying with Roshni. So it will be fun to watch her verbal spat with Roshni in his presence. That's when he will realise her growing feelings for him.

Guessing by the way Roshni talked about Pushkar to Bani and her subsequent look of fright, does it indicate that Roshni has a fair idea that Bani was once in love with Pushkar and if she does, do you think she will use it to poison Jai's mind against his wife?

I don't think anyone has an idea about Bani-Pushkar one way traffice relationship. I think Bani gets scared everytime becoz I think she assumes that Roshni is hell bend on fueling the already burning fire of animosity between Jai and Pushkar. Bani knows that Roshni already has an idea as to what circumstances they got married.

Bani being the typical Indian Woman will advice Pushkar to let bygones be bygones and be happy with Pia and look forward to their future together. Bani is totally in love with Jai and for her her husband is next to God.

No Pushkar's love for Pia is true love. That's the reason he is taking all the crap and has become a sissy(sorry pushkar fans). He will always remain a true friend to Bani. Yes he will be shocked to hear about Bani's feelings for him and maybe upset a little that he failed to see it and apologise to Bani. He might end up supporting Bani against Pia after he sees her continious tantrums over silly things.

Jai-Bani are true soulmates. They have perfect understanding, trust and respect very necessary for a marriage to work. They do not require verbal communication to express or understand what the other wants to say. That 's the reason they are so compatible inspite of the age difference. And personally I don't think that Bani is too traditional and old fashioned. She does her wifely duties not becoz Jai wants it but becoz she wants to of her own free will.

It totally depends on how much involved Jai is with the raaz. If it involves her family then I don't think she will be able to forgive him so easily. She will be hurt very badly. But if it only affects her then maybe she might forgive him over a period of time. But if your question is about immediate forgiveness. Then no she will not forgive him.
