About Tvr's and Trp's

Hello, anybody out there, pls help me out by telling me what is TVR and TRP. On what basis it will be calculated? Iam really worried that amazing serial like MB is so low in rankings while bakwas serial like Saathiyan and uttaran or in top 10. So, I want to know how rankings will be done. So, that if its by voting or something in viewers hand, we can do something. Pls if anyboidy know, explain
