Geet: 'Then prepare for one.'

Maan: 'We'll see.'

Geet: 'Yes we well.'

Maan was sleepy. It was late and he had a lot of work to do tomorrow.

He wrote: 'I have to go now. Bye.'

Geet: 'Okay bye Maan. Tc and have a good night.'

Maan: 'You too take care. Good night.'

She laughed again but he had already signed out. 'Does he still not remember that I don't live in US? Yet?' 😉

Maan fell asleep quickly...

Evening in India:

There was a knock on Geet's door. Thinking it would be Ramu kaka or Yash, she said, 'Come in.'

To her shock, it was her father, Karan. he was shocked to see the room. it was so neat, tidy and looked beautiful. He had never seen it till now!

Geet: 'You?!'

Karan: 'I want to talk to you beta.'

Geet: 'You lost the right to call me beta long time ago. Ask what you need and get going.'

Karan: 'Geet, believe it or not, I never meant to say what I said downstairs. It just came out of my mouth. You still are my daughter and always will be.'

Geet: 'Enough of the buttering all ready. With you talking sweetly to me is not going to make me change my decision of throwing both of you out the house. Go tell that boss of your's not to send you to me to talk. And yea, she wont have to worry a lot. Only that she'll have to get used to smaller place like 1 bedroom apt, small kitchen, cook food by herself and do house chores. No biggie.' she said it as if it was nothing.

Karan was again surprised by Geet: 'Geet, listen to me...'

Geet: 'Oh yea, i had to tell you something. Call the lawyer now. I don't have his number. Do the honors for me.'

Karan: 'But Geet...'

Geet: 'Enough! Do what you are told or else start packing. I can find the number through some other source.'

Karan accepting his defeat. 'You won't have to do that. I'll him and tell him to give you a call. Don't let your mood go foul.' Saying so, he left the room lightly pushing the door close so it doesn't bang.

The challenge was on but who will win it was a mystery.

But the time they spend together was the only time they were truly happy in a long long time. But other then that happy is a word you can't use for their lives.

Coming back to story, Geet was making plans for her 'parent' 😡 to move out. She went to see the flat she saw in net but she didn't like it. She felt it was too big for them. 😆 So she decided to keep looking. She was just in time for the party. Final touches were being given to the living room. While getting ready, she remembered Maan and the chat they had few hours ago and also his challenge. The way he asked 'Who is Salman Khan?' still brought a smile on her face.

How strange is it? How a person we never meet or talk to becomes a reason for our smile. It happens a lot in the world today. One second you mean nothing the the other person and the next second, you mean the world to the other person. Over the net, there are both good sides and bad sides. Both had seen the beginning of good sides. Now, as time goes, let's see if they experience the bad side as well? How much great time will they get?

That's it for today's ud. I know it is short. Hope you think it is sweet. Reason for short ud is that it's already time for me to go to sleep and i still haven't finished my studies. Due tomorrow. Sorry. But i had promised my dearest Anchal di that I will ud today and she will get to read it. So here it goes di. Hope you like it. Anways, looking at the schedule, you should know when the next ud will be.
