Recently I acquired nationality for the country where I have been residing since the last 35 years. As a good citizen I approached the Indian Embassy to surrender my Indian Passport (which I am supposed to after acquiring another nationality). To my surprise they charge me 135 Euros to accept my passport. Is this not height of robbery? No wonder India is full of corruption and this is also another way of looting. Shame on a country which has such irregular malpractices. I still have the Indian spirit in me but the state of affairs we see India today it is really shameful.
