I hope all our USA buddies are fine. I understand they evacuated the white house...! Any idea the richter scale of the quake?

Take care all. We didn't have it so cosy awhile back, there were riots going on in the UK...one night, they got too near where I live and it was quite tense as they were setting people's homes and businesses on fire...

Thank you for all the concern and prayers dear,Me, shilpa and both are families are safe.. by gods grace.we didnt face any aftershocks. I hope everbody else in US and Canada are safe too.

I just hopethe Irene hurricane also passes by quietly without much damage..

let us keep all the people in US and cananda in our prayers...

Was in DC - evacuated and got home - safe - we are lucky there was no major damage given this was not an insignificant quake in an area not exactly where quakes are common
So it rattled us all...
