Maaneet...and their love story...Maan...the proud and strong Maan...the indefeateble, indomitable Maan...fell in love with Geet...true but...it was not only love...

Remember in one episode...ages back...dadi ma had said...for Maan no ordinary girl will do...she will have to be headstrong and spirited...so she gives back to Maan as good as she gets...and thats precisely the reason why Geet was perfect for Maan...she had spirit and courage of conviction...Maan in order to love a woman...has to respect her first...And Geet won his respect first...his admiration for her strength...for her love of truth made him fall in love with her...

He had seen what this 18 year old had gone through...how she had suffered...and how she had emerged a victor...standing tall and proud inspite of everything...and that is what had made him tumble madly in love with her...

Maan today is back to square one...his old cynical, bitter, suspicious, woman hating old self...insulting...derogatory...but the million dollar question...is Geet back to square one???

Most of us today feel bad for Geet...and empathise with her...so do I...but will the real Geet please stand up and fight..coz that is the only way she is going to win her man back...

If we have got the original Maan back...he needs the original woman..the fighter Geet..to honor, respect and admire...and till Geet wins that she has no hope of winning his heart...coz no amount of pressure can force him to accept her as a partner...only she herself can help herself now!!!
