I didn't know whether to laugh or feel bad for Yudi/Prem(😕😆😉) when he proposed marriage to Mukti in front of the whole world. It was almost as if he was in some jewellery showroom...liked a solitaire and asked the salesperson to wrap it up for him..."I want that one" translating to " I like you and I want to marry you."😳
Prem has never known what a family is like...what relations mean and signify. Prerna and gang have entered this pragmatist's life a tad too late. It's difficult for Prem to accept and understand this ideal world of love, morals, culture and loyal relationships simply because he cannot relate to them. He knows that Prerna loves him, his sister loves him and that Mukti loves him too.....but even though he feels the emotional wave, he still doesn't understand it. The fault lies in his breeding that has been full of relentless and careless venom. So, he knows nothing beyond an "I-me-myself" existence.
And this makes him a classic case of Accidental Emotional Hypocrisy....where he has genuine concern for his mother, his sister and his turbulent love, Mukti but he can't bring himself to accept it and come to terms with the reality that even he is like any other normal human-being who responds to love and compassion.
Mukti touches Prem on a very basic human level and that has elevated her to his heart. Yes, Prem loves her....and subconsciously he knows it but his conscience mind is struggling to accept this reality. Now, no matter how hard he tries, he finds it difficult to display his Yudi shades to Mukti...because that girl affects him like nobody else.I feel so sorry for him..he was instrumental in ruining the life of that one girl who can redeem him..and now, that he loves her, he still hasn't checked into reality and the girl is drifting away already.
Prem wouldn't know for himself that why in the world he pulled up Mukti by her arm and told her straightaway that he wanted to marry her.Yes, the proposal was very weird...because Prem's tussle between the head and the heart is still on. All he knows is that he feels for Mukti, likes her a lot, wants to heal her in his own weird way, wants her to be around him and with him......not realizing that the only reason he is behaving like that is because he sees his other half in her.....
Mukti still loves Prem and she told him that....and that was one major reason she refused to marry Prem. She didn't want to marry a man who just likes her...and she deserves a standing ovation for that. Let's see how Prem takes this rejection from a woman who has loved him like nobody else.
Knowing him, he is not the kind to sit , weep and mope....he is a go-getter...but Mukti has a spine of steel now. So, let's see where this love-story goes now.
By the way, the bouquet was beautiful...at the right place but at a wrong time. Ouchh!😉
